Denver's Defense?

Denver's defense was just pathetic last year. Has that much changed? Mike Nolan in as D Coordinator, okay, but have they had that much change in personnel. Brian Dawkins must be helping out. Any other major personnel changes to turn them around or will the real weak Denver D resurface? I mean they were REALLY bad last year. Remember the season finale against SD?

Well they haven't played many explosive offenses so far either......Cincinnati, Cleveland and Oakland. The Bengals are getting better, but Denver had them the 1st game. No doubt they are improved, but we'll see how they do the next 4 games against Dallas, New England, San Diego and Baltimore.

The offense won't become the offense of the past. Not a bad thing as Denver never won big games with offense. Defense wins titles.

The D is pretty good and should get better.

A good test today against Dallas.

Nolan? He's good defensive coordinator. It's the scheme - but of course you need the players.

How will we know how good the defense is? They really haven't played a D-1 school yet before that rigorous AFC west schedule kicks in.

I think we find out today.

Denver has coasted thus far in my opinion.

Dallas on the road after MNF, but I think Dallas is still the play.

Denver comes back to what they were suppossed to be this year.

Denver's D had Tony Romo to thank today for a lot of their success. He was flat out terrible.

I really cant figure out Romo this year. First I didnt have high expectations this year for the Cowboys but I have never seen Romo play consistently so bad. It makes me wonder if something is wrong that were not aware of or even if he enjoys playing any more.I dont know but notice it next time you watch him play. So many bad passes... Who knows.

I guess I was proved wrong--Something that seemedto happen a lot over this past weekend.

Like I said before, I am kind of a closet Cowboys fan.

But I don't know how you hard-core fans take them. They bear a crazy resemblance to the Cubs in Baseball...Wait until next year...Lots of fans, supports, but just not the team to back it up. Seems like they are a few pieces short--WR in my opinion.

I still find myseolf rooting for them and Romo, but I heard someone say on the radio, that if Romo was that good, don't you think someone else would have found him earlier? I don't know if I agree ot not, but hes missing something to close out a game.

I agree Woodee. Used to live in Grand Prairie, just a stones throw from Texas stadium. Always have been a cowboy fan. Man, something is wrong. Have never been a Jerry Jones fan though. I wonder the same thing myself about Denvers Defense as Widestrides does. I mean they totally stunk it up last year and are now playing great. Which one is the real Denver defense?
