  • Replay Saints vs Falcons. Line? Who do you pick?

If we were to replay Saints vs Falcons next Monday night in New Orleans, what would be the line and o/u total and who would you pick?

I'd say the line would be Saints -10. Maybe -9.5. Saints showed they are capable of scoring on the Falcons secondary, but Atlanta managed to hold them to 7 in the 2H. Atlanta showed their mettle but even Matty Ice got rattled and made some mistakes.

Total would be 54. Both teams moved the ball but there were two TDs on turnovers. However, there were 3 missed FGs and 2 were very makeable. There was also at least 2 turnovers in the red zone.

I would take the Saints if it was -9.5 and less enthusiastically at -10. If it was -10.5 or -11, no play or even Atlanta. And I'd take the over if it was 54 or 55. Under or no play if it hit 56.

I'd probably take the Saints this time.

Ryan is OK, but no Brees and he got lucky on a bunch of throws. He was getting pretty rattled at the end too, and looks like a green QB.

I was lucky and played the ATL/OVER tease, but the way my year has gone, i was pretty sure Ryan was going to get picked and put it right at 18.

I think NO is for real, but Minnesota, Baltimore, New England, are right there too I think.

I'd take the Saints up to -11 and over 56 again. they didn't play that great of a game and it was a fluke they didn't win by 11. Atlanta played pretty much their best game.

JMO, but I think Minnesota and Indianapolis are the two best teams in the NFL at the moment.........Mainly because of the ability of the defensive fronts to wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks........Especially the Minny front four.......they're awesome..............New Orleans and New England would probably round out the top 4, and Denver would be in there too if it weren't for Kyle Orton.

It's kind of wierd this year how you've got about 6 really good teams, about 6 really bad teams, and the rest are just in-and-outers.......The enlarged point spreads prove the point, to say the least.

Don't forget Blitzburgh! That D will have them in the hunt also.

I can't help remembering how bad Indy's D was against Miami. They got shredded. But Peyton bailed them out. And Bob Sanders is back. And Peyton will be there. So they are always a contender.

Minny vs Pitt, Indy or NE in the SB. New Orleans, Philly, Balty and Cinci maybe. Denver a dark horse as you say because of Orton. My Giants don't look like contenders with that riddled D this year.

Saints showed some chinks in the armor last night. Pressure on Brees - Minny, Pittsburgh and Indy can all bring it.
