  • Illinois lands # 5 Recruiting Class 2010 in the Nation

This Thursday is signing day for all Colleges for the class of 2010 basketball season.

Bruce Weber of Illinois has landed himself another
dandy basket of recruits for 2010. Combined with the
new class this season and you are gonna see some
exciting basketball. Many are talking Final Four in
    2 years.

Lets take a quick look at the new Illini talent:

Jereme Richmond, a 6-6 guard, Mr Illinois basketball
as a Junior last year, huge expectations for this
    high flyer.

Myers Leonard, a 6-11 Center that is very athlectic
last year Leonard won the slam dunk competion in
Illinois. This is the best Center that has ever come
    to Illinois.

Crandal Head, 6-3 Guard, just oozes talent, this shooting
guard is Luther Heads younger brother, Luther is now
playing for the pacers I believe.

Thursday is signing day and Illini Nation is keeping
fingers crossed that all 3 sign the LOI as promised.
Carpet thinks they will all sign no problem.

OHIO ST took the top spot, followed by Memphis,
    Syracuse, NC and ILLINOIS.

Coach Weber has done a excellent job on keeping top
talent in Illinois home. Look for big things from this team
    in the future.
