Used to wager on baskets, but found it too fast paced. Had a good college football season and could have been great without the last two weeks. Tonight Illinois plays at home as a 15 point chalk
vs the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Coach Weber is bound and determined to get this
Illini off to a fast start and start defending at both ends

Iowa is just plain and simple a bad team this year
and Illinois should win going away

My numbers say Illinois 88, the Squakees 65

Just pressure Iowa and Extend the defense and the
cards will crack.

I agree. Iowa may hang around for a bit but Illinois will win by 20.

I grabbed them at -14.

I have to agree with you boys on this one.
I am a huge Hawkeye fan and have seen every game this year and they are not very good.
The natives are restless with Likliter.

Illinois combined loses this year were by a total of
11 points (4 games) throw out Missouri.

Down by 23 to Clemson and pulled it out with a W

Down by 21 to Gonzaga and lost by 2 in OT

Slow starts are killing the Illini, as well as a
presence in the low post on defense.

I knew this year would drive Coach Weber crazy
with the solid Junior Trio returning and 3 really good
freshmen.

All I know is this, Illinois can compete with the top 25
out there and it will only be a matter of time before
they will be back on the national level. The incoming
class is LOADED with talent.

Extend the defense and pressure on Iowa, let Tisdale
get pushed around by the fat center of Iowa and this
should be over. I do expect Iowa to try and play a
slow down game, but Illinois will play them man to man
all game on defense.

I like Ohio State -13 in a similar situation tonight at home vs. Indy.

OSU is off 2 losses, both on the road.

They will not start 0-3 and shoudl handle the Hoosiers quite easily.
