  • Widestrides Wildcard Weekend

Remember how bad AZ looked at the end of last year? Then they turned it on. Remember how they got up and hammered Minny just a few weeks ago? Their D is better than last year. I like them, but have to admit, GB is a very hot team and they are good on both sides of the ball. Maybe the over is the best play.
Lean AZ -1.5 and over 47

Dallas has Philly's number. They will win again. Would like to see -3.5 and buy it down to -3 if possible. McNabb under pressure = mistakes and inaccuracy.
    Lean Dallas -3.5 or -4.

Cinci played their starters at least the first half and it was 27-0 and Palmer and Marvin Lewis looked worried. But, Jets are just 3 weeks away from losing to Atlanta in a must-win game at home. Then they got two games handed to them. Their D is good, so it will be close, but Cinci should bring their "A" game to their first playoff game in a while.
    Lean Cinci -2.5

Brady and Billy at home in a playoff game are hard to go against, but with Welker out and their D questionable, the 3 or 4 points look tempting. However, Ravens D not what it used to be.
Gun to my head - Ravens +4.

Right now my initial thoughts are to go "with" all the teams that lost in their week 17 games...

    Cinnci
    Arizona
    Philly

I think 2 of the 3 will cash at least.

basing it on the public seeing the poundings that they took in week 17 will give us some good value on the other side.

As far as NE/Balty...Side with NE but I don't think I won 1 game betting with or against these teams all year.

Okay, here goes for real. No more leans.

Cinci -2.5. Cinci will bring their A game this week. And yes, I know, even with that, it will be close. I like the under but 34 is pretty low. One or two turnovers and it's over. Still, I could see this game 13-9.

Dallas -3 (buy the hook). Philly has to be demoralized a bit. They have to turn around and travel back to Big D. In the other repeat games, one team didn't play to win, but both Philly and Dallas needed to win bad and Dallas won 24-0. Dallas 24 and we'll give Philly 13 this time.

      Dallas/Philly under 45

NE -3. I'm switching here. Edge to NE in home filed, coach, QB, OL and receivers. edge to Balt only in RBs and barely Defense.

NE/Baltimore under 43. Weather and conservative play calling on both sides.

AZ pick or +1? vs GB. GB scares me but I'm expecting the same AZ team that knocked the Vikings around in AZ just 3-4 weeks ago to show up. I might wait till GB's first drive before putting this in if possible with Live! Betting. If GB goes right down the field, I will have saved myself the $.

AZ/GB over 47. They both could light it up.
