Tuesday 2/22 College Hoops thread

Rutgers/Louisville under 71 2H. Actual: 40 in the 2H. Winner!
Tenny/Vandy under 74 2H. Actual: 53 in the 2H. Winner!
Minny/MSU under 68 2H. Actual: 61 in the 2H. Winner!

Sometimes it can be SO easy. Sometimes the Books set the 2H lines with too much of an eye on the game line and total, concerned more about getting middled, then setting an accurate line. I am going to explore this more.

I didn't see the finish, but Minny had a seven point lead with 3 minutes to go and MSU finished with a 14-1 run. That sounds like Minny tried to sit on it and use clock and it hurt their offense. I hate when coaches do that. Use some clock, but not so much that you end up forcing the shot.

Now we are increasing our braintrust and it will be nice to see if we can get some solid consensus plays amongst us!

In regard to the "braintrust" consensus, let's take it one step further and summarize the Board's plays included in the daily thread the following am. In the day after, morning summary, excude teasers, half time, and likely/considering plays. No names will be assigned to the plays, just the results.

It's been weird on those 2nd half totals...I see you hit 3 unders. I have played 2 unders in the past 2 days...

KU-Okie State and OSU-Illinois

Both were way off from the opening number total, OSU last night was off about 12 I think, so the under looked like the play but it sailed over the 73.5 KU-OSU the other night was off about 8 I think and that one barely got over. Hard to say but the books did open themselves up to a good middle on those for sure.

But I am ice cold and when I chase, I lose...worse thing you can do but sometime the emotion gets in the way. As they say "a desperate or scared bet is a bad bet!"
