A Couple games that jump off the floor

WISKY -6 at Indiana.....Coach Crean of the Hoosiers is feeling he got punked with his schedule, playing Wisky at home at 9pm and traveling to Illinois for a 11am Sat game. Wisky is just to disciplined not to loose this game....Wisky by 10

Wake Forest + 5.5 at home vs GTech, I am going to take a tough beat up squad of wake to serve home court.

UCLA + 8 vs Washington....I like the way the Bruins are playing and the inside game of the bruins will be key, give me UCLA

Carpet, thanks for noting the IU scheduling issue for Saturday morning! Might take all BJ winnings and load up at the Sportsbook for the 9AM PST tip!

I had a good day yesterday, didn't get a chance to post. I loved Mich St and UAB. Anybody else notice how easy these 1 and 2 pt conf home games are coming in. Ex: ECarol- Memp,Mia-Mary,Iowa St-Colo,TTech-Okla, the night before- OKSt-Bay,Neb-Mizz it seems these other teams have nothing to play for at the moment and home court is really taking effect right now. There are no games like that tonight, maybe LTech and Ariz St, but not quite the same. Anyways, for today I am going with 2 hot teams, UCLA and St Johns. I would have been skeptical about St Johns falling under the same situation as above, but they have not played SHall, yet this year and I think, even though they should be in, they are still fighting for the tournament. Plus, they have a good coach who has been there before. UCLA lost to Wash at home and will play it tight, if not win outright.

          One play for me...

Seton Hall +3 over St.Johns....Going against the hot team here as i think they are due for a small let down.

I see your point on the conf. homers too. The teams that are out of it are letting it all hang out and add that some of them are on senior nights helps as well. Also, looks like the away teams are all bubble teams that "need" the win and are choking.

Why is that Wash-UCLA line 8? No reason why they should be favored by that many against a hot UCLA team. Wash beat UCLA by 11 already but still very high epecially for a team who got smoked by Wazzu last time out at home.

Really fishy--I say if there is a play, it has to be on Washington and the +8 is a huge bear trap! Pass for me.

              one more...

SIU-ISU OVER 118.5 in the MVC tourney game. I think this game gets into the 60's each way.

Comment on the UCLA - UDub game. Not sure at this time I'll make a play on this game.

The o/u is 150 or 151 which translates into Wash win. For UCLA to win, they have to play Ben Howland ball which is man to man half court, slow and methodical, with a total score not exceeding 140. UCLA has not done well on the Wash home court. When you look back at their final four run years, 06, 07, and 08, they lost every time up at Wash. This year's team is not of the same caliber as those final four teams which included Farmar, Affolo, Collison, Wesbrooke, and Love who are all in the NBA and two who were on the NBA All Star team this year.

UCLA is a good team (which should be rated in the lower end of the top 25) and impoving week to week. Perhaps the non rating status will have them play with a chip on their shoulder tonight. Thus, playing Ben Howland ball which is defense comes first. However, not convinced Wash will allow them that type of game.

If you think UCLA has a chance to cover play the UNDER if you're on UDub to cover than play the OVER. Note, I'll be cheering for the Bruin backers tonight.

                Good luck to all!

Down to 117.5! What, do they play fewer than 40 minutes in this conference!?

I may tail you on that one!

                    Taking:
                    St. John's ML
                    Wisc/Indy over 126.5
Maybe that SI game over 117.5 that woodee likes.

Wow, a missed FT by Isaiah Thomas allowed UCLA to cover. Looked like it was going to be a push. Those last meaningless points that aren't meaningless to bettors are a riot.

1-1 for me as I stayed away from that SI under when I saw their last game was 59-54 recently. But I lost some extra juice on the St. John's ML.

Neither Washington or UCLA are going very far in the tourney. Maybe win one game and maybe Washington wins a 2nd depending on the bracket. Nothing special on either side there. Pac-10 will be lucky to get one team to the Sweet 16. AZ does not play with any passion.

What do you think of Whisky's chances? Can Taylor take them deep into the Dance. Elite 8? Final 4?

Is there a better guard in the country? Nolan Smith? Jimmer? Hardy? E'Twaun?
