So far my 2 favs are:

Sd State +1.5/+2 over U conn...Think defensive minded aztech keep conn in check and advance.


UK +6 over Ohio State...I think there is great value here with the dog. OSU smashed GM last time out and everyone thinks they are just going to steam roll to the championship. I think UK is quick enough to rattle the Buckeyes and keep this one closer than expected. High % on OSU too and the line has stayed put at +5.5/+6.

And also

BYU +3 over Florida...capable dog that can win epecially if Boykins is a little more gimpy than expected.

The only chalk I may lay is KU over Richmond--other than that I think you have to looka at all the dogs.

SOME THOUGHTS

UCON vs SDST When you look at the Strength of Schedule for UCON it clearly shows UCON playing a much harder slate, I don't think State is that deep on the bench and UCON should win this game by 5.

WI -5 vs BUTLER

The magic has run out for Butler playing vs a well playing team. Pomerory gives Wisky a # 2 ranking in the country on offensive Points per Possession.

Wisky is 9th in the Nation in rebounding, and also are a team that is very close in breaking the ncaa record in FT% and TO%.

So what does all that equate to= It means that the badgers make the most of each possession and they don't give up the extra possession to the opponent.

OHIO STATE vs KY

Ohio State is well balanced in scoring, with a solid front court, the balance of scoring that the buckeyes have will allow Aaron craft of OSU to focus on defense and getting back on the ball. I think OSU has just to many weapons and are playing just as good as any team out there right now if not a step better.

Duke-AZ

I do not think AZ can beat Duke. Laying the 8.5 is tough though. I would like to ML parlay Duke with another chalk fav. Maybe Wiscy? FSU?

Who is another team besides KU (too high of a ML) that you think will win rather easily SU.

Lets create a BW ML parlay for us all to hammer!

Woodee, as much as it seems hard to lay the 9 points with Duke, something to keep in mind is that believe it or not the spread rarely comes into play for these games. As long as you can pick the outright winner. Over the last 3 years in the round of 32, 42 of 48 games, the spread didn't come into play. This last Sat and Sun it only came into play twice with NC by a half point and the Duke game. Now, in the round of 16 over the last 3 years it only came into play 2 out of 24. Once by 2 and the other by 1 1/2. With this in mind, I think Duke wins the game by about 14. The other games are the tough ones. Will there be more upsets? I like UConn. And I am leaning towards Wisc, but I am having a hard time with the Flor-BYU game.

Of course Duke and Kansas seems like the easiest ML parlay, but it wouldn't pay very well. Adding one more game is tough as any of them could go either way.

Yeah, I know I saw that. I ended up going with Duke 3 units, UConn 2 units, Wisc and BYU 1 unit and money line parlay, But,UConn,BYU and But, UConn, VCU.

I put in Duke and FSU as my ML parlay...I think VCU is finally done.

Also a half unti on Butler +4.5.

1 unit on BYU +3.

2H thoughts on UConn/SDSU?

Line is SDSU -3.5 and 69.5.

I'm thinking to go for a middle with some of my UConn wager. UConn lucky to be up 9 at the half. They should win, but SDSU may claw back into it.

Adding Duke under 149. Duke's tough D should hold AZ in check and under 75. As long as Duke doesn't go off for 80 some!

Nice win for UConn. Walker is just too much. And Lamb is coming on. Duke will be a tough test for them though. UConn will have to dominate with the bigs and Duke guards will be tough to handle. Duke will be favored by 3 or 4. I'm already penciling them in over AZ. We'll see.

Going with Duke in the 2H. Derrick Williams is awesome but he's got no help and Duke is relentless. Too many good shooters.

Added Butler +4.5 2H. That could be a good omen for Whisky as my Duke 2H play couldn't have been more wrong.

I would love to see Duke lose though, so it would be worth it. Not sure how Duke just went flat. AZ went on a 19-2 run! That does not happen against Duke!
