Yeah, still almost 2 weeks away, but.......
Looks like it could be a big field for the preakness. Possibly 14, which is the preakness max.
Only 5 from the Derby, so lots of new blood to look at.
The Derby horses are Shackleford, Dialed In, Mucho Mach Man, Santiva and of course, Animal Kingdom.
Dialed In has a shot at a 5.5 million dollar bonus as a result of winning the Holy Bull Stakes and the Florida Derby......
Shackleford led most of the way in the Derby......the shorter distance of the preakness may suit him well.
The other Derby horses all contended, plus the new blood should make for a nice race.
The more horses, the better the potential pay day.
We'll pick the race apart over the next week and a half.......
