Boone, you know me and I talk smack lots.. But when it comes to the sec, I am for real... Bama has a great team coming back.. You have seen my posts on Richardson even from a couple of years ago.. He is BY FAR THE BEST BACK IN ALABAMA HISTORY.. I STAND BY THIS.. He has one of the best lines in the nation.. Bama will have a top ten or better defense.. So what is the problem.. I am not convinced AJ Mc WILL DO THE JOB.. If McElroy had one more year, I don't say these things.. So we will see.

The sec west is loaded again.. LSU, MISS. ST. ARKANSAS...No way Auburn is in the mix..So to answer your question, yes Bama will lose several games and have hell in others.... No way on Auburn.... Just my opinion,,, they will win some you don't think they will and lose to really bad teams... RR LOOKING FORWARD TO IT ALSO..

I have been reading your write ups about bama red raider (keep them coming) Bama is loaded for bear this year and most of their second string would find playing time on any PAC Ten team. Red you said in a early post that Bama is going to lose to Mississippi State this year. May I ask why?

Honestly, I don't know squat about the big ten, you should be the guy there.. I do however know the sec.. Miss st came out of nowhere to impose serious hurt all over.. Yes, they lost their best lineman on the o line and the d line.. but that is the only two... They are seriously full of talent and loaded.. schedule will beat them in the end.. AND YEA THEY WILL BEAT BAMA STRAIGHT UP AS I SAID SC WOULD BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED LAST YEAR... Hey wager against it when it comes up.. I have not seen the complete regular season schedual for College Football, but there is usually only 1 week left after thanksgiving weekend, and I have been using it as a tiebreaker week. If we go 14 weeks instead of 13 what will be used as the tie breaker? I want no parts of adding the Bowl season in as part of the regular college seasons, as Woodee said, Bowl games are a different animal and should remain separate from the regular season. Personally, the system has been working great the way it is past 7 years. Unless Jeff overrules, Im leaving it as is, except for the last 3 weeks, where leaders will e-mail pics in, to protect the integrity of the contest!

Ok, whatever you're most comfortable with. However, I recall you saying last year that you wouldn't post the lines until Thursday am instead of Tuesday am - RIGHT.
Also, instead of using the USA lines how about anyone of these others.

Vegas Lines - Hilton, Stations, MGM/Mirage...
or
Offshore Lines - The Greek, 5 Dimes, Bet US, Pinny (Pinnancle)....

Lax, you know I like you and fully respect your knowledge on football, at least I hope you do.. I realize that you and Dawg2 both got fdddd by the rules last year.. I remember defending Woodee, because I thought he played within the rules and won.;
Certainly nothing against you... I like the way things are and yes I agree that nobody should be able to copy a pick and win... That being said, Maybe come crunch time all picks need to be emailed to pappa an hour early and as stated earlier in my posts: just so that everyone could see them and hour before kickoff just to get their wisdom... AGAIN, JUST MY SUGGESTION!! I do stand by defending Woodee last year though!!

Yeah, the final week could be the conference championship games and the tiebreaker can be the total points in the game you choose that week.

Why miss out and not make picks on one of the best weekends of the year?! Simple.

Why stop a college football contest before the exciting conference championships?

If there is an extra week of college football after the confernce championships then we can extend the season an extra week. Is the Army/Navy Game the LAST game of the regular College Season?

The Conference Championships and some other games are on Saturday, December 3 and then Army-Navy is December 10.
