Ok here are the Rules for the College Football game of the Week Contest for 2012.........please look at them NOW so I dont have to hear any BS once the season Starts. If there are any suggestions to make, PLEASE DO it NOW!
The COLLEGE FOOTBALL game of the week handicapping contest is just like the NFL game of the week contest. The contest is simple. Pick ONE COLLEGE FOOTBALL game per week, against the spread. The winner is the contestant with the most wins at the end of the year.
This contest is held in our main Bookies Hell posting forum. Picks are posted in the appropriate thread each week, and standings are generally posted on Tuesdays.
This contest is not only popular to participate in, but also very popular among those looking for quality free picks. Like the NFL contest, the reason for this is very simple. There are some great handicappers in this contest, and each week, you're getting their very best play.
Official Rules:
1. Players in this contest will post one pick per week using the line listed in the respective Thursday’s edition of the USA today…..SIDES or Totals. If more than one pick is posted the first pick will be used. Editing picks will not be allowed. Once your pick is posted it is official. Saturday games ONLY!!!!!
2. Picks MUST be posted by 11:00am (EST) on Game day Saturday. NO EXCEPTIONS If you have problems accessing the site e-mail picks to bettorsworld@gmail.com before the posting deadline! For Thur and Fri games, post must be 1 hour before kickoff of game that you are posting.
3. The contest will run from Aug 30th thru Dec 1st. Any tie breaker will be decided by the Army/Navy game in on ………….
4. Wins (1 point), ties (1/2 point) will be recorded and posted on the following Tuesday.
5. Not posting a pick will be counted as a loss.
6. Miss any combination of Three (3) Weeks of not posting a pick and you are OUT of the contest.
7. Players will "NOT" be allowed in after week #2.
9. If you come in on week #2, week #1 will be counted as a loss.
10. Use this link to get the Thur line http://www.usatoday.com/sports/front.htm
11. In the final three weeks of the contest all contenders (who will be bolded in the standings) MUST submit their picks via email to xxbigpappaxxx@aol.com or bettorsworld@gmail.com. Picks will be posted as soon as all picks have been received from all contenders. This rule has been established to provide a competitively balanced playing field for all contestants.
The prizes for this contest are as follows :
1ST PLACE - $ 1,000.00 2ND PLACE - $ 350 3RD PLACE - $ 250

X, as you requested “If there are any suggestions to make, PLEASE DO it NOW! “
X, if you recall there was another self inflicted mess that you created over last year’s Army-Navy tiebreaker. In fact, the person that actually picked the side successfully lost the contest. Sincerely, I want to help you out and ensure that this is not repeated again.
Army – Navy tiebreakers:
The moonshine still in X’s backyard out house is raided by the Houston Police Dept is what quarter?
1st
2nd
3rd
4th
Overtime
OR
X must go to the local urgent medical care unit at half-time of the Army – Navy game for:
1) Brain transplant
2) Head lice
3) Foot in Mouth disease
Thank you for considering these tiebreaker scenarios which represent your unique lifestyle.

actually the tie breaker was to pick the side, total, and a combined score so even tho the guy got the side right the others all got the total and their combined score was closer so he actually had the right ruling maybe this year just have pick the side or total and not all three
