  • Carib NFL Contest

Carib NFL Online Contest is up and running. Actually, a better deal than the Hilton SuperContest.

    Over 200K in prizes
    $5,000 weekly prize
    $55,000 season-long prize.
    Top 20 finishers get paid.

    $200 entry fee.

Unfortunately, I believe they are closed to U.S. players.
U.S. players okay if you already have an account.

Is this a pick 10 NFL contest?

Yes, Pick 10 - sides and totals.

The line changes every morning at 8 AM right through Sunday.

I think they ruined this contest when they switched to 10 games. They used to have rules identical to the Hilton contest. I've participated in this one for a number of years but enjoyed it more when there were just 5 games to pick...............

True - 10 games not for the purists, but I like not having to sweat out picking just 5. Picking 10 is relatively easy. Maybe you gnash your teeth trying to settle on the last two.

I like the chance to win $5,000 every week. And I like that they update the lines every morning. Those are two things better than the Hilton Contest. I'm sure a lot of Hilton plays are just plays on line moves.

That would definitely be true......some recent past winners did so by exploiting those moves......in the Hilton contest that is.......as for the carib contest, I'll be in it once again this year......even though I don't care for the format....

Look for me this year - #100875.

I had 4 entries last year with family members and we finished two in the money - Top 20. Tied for 10th and tied for 18th.

this looked like a fun contest. Wanted to join but the US admissions thing doesn't work out. It just gives the error on admission like the form wasn't filled out properly.

It is a lot of picks but the payouts seem nice and a chance to get 5K is always nice.

                  resteasy,

Yeah, they confirmed that they are not accepting "new" U.S. clients. Strange that they would allow us to continue. Must be that they trust the ones they already have, or they just didn't want to jilt them.

Do you have a Canadian friend who could be your Proxy? I'm already juggling a few entries, or I'd put you in.

nah I don't and it's cool. I got the hilton team, mock hilton, pow, 2 fantasy leagues so far (1 pay 1 against coworkers) so I think I can get by.
                    thanks though.

Still a great contest, but they lowered the prize structure drastically from prior years, for the same entrance fee.

Yes, they lowered most prizes by 10-20% but it's still a better value than the Las Vegas Hilton SuperContest, when you consider the entry fee vs the prize money, the weekly prize and fewer sharps entered.

They lost big money last year as the number of entries dropped due to excluding U.S. players. But that just makes our chances of winning better!
