i gave out vikings ml. not the spread. the 3.5 was horrible but i didnt bet that number. it went down to 3 anyways so it was a push anyway.

As far as being the #1 football handicapper on the planet.........well, yeah, if I had a dollar for every time I heard that in my lifetime.......

We're really not interested in seeing your wagers posted here after the fact.

If you'd like to come in prior to the games starting, and make some picks, along with reasons why you like a game, fantastic. That's really what the forums are all about.

It won't cost you a dime you you'll be able to show everyone how great your are.

Coming in here and bragging about how good you are, kinda makes you look foolish. Like some wet behind the ears 18 year old kid. That may work in some forums across the net, not here.

If you're looking for input on the wagers you posted, I'd say if any bookmaker were to read your post, they'd absolutely kill for the chance to take your wagers. What you posted may have won, yesterday, but they aren't the plays of a sharp bettor......Seriously, how do you end up laying 5 -130 on the Packers????

Just to clarify one thing. I knew our super hero wouldn't understand my post (he didn't). I wasn't stating that betting on Green Bay is what exposed this super hero as a rank amateur. It's the fact that he laid -5 -130. Classic square move in every sense of the word. Looking at the line history for that game, I'm not even sure how someone could have got themselves into that situation. Never mind the ridiculous buy onto the 5, but shit, the game was -5 all day long.

And here's a guy charging people for advice???

Some poor football fan looking to put a few bucks on a game, may stumble on a forum like this on any given day and see a post like this, and fall for it hook line and sinker.

Sportsbetting, and how difficult it actually is, needs to be respected. Likely less than 1% of all people that will ever place a wager on a sporting event, could ever make a living from it. (betting only, not including arbitrage)

It's also likely that no one on this planet could hit 60% or better in the NFL, College Football, the NBA or college hoops, over the long haul. A monkey with a brain injury could hit better than 60% over a small number of games, or even an incredible string of luck one given season. But over 500 or 600 bets? Impossible.

25 or 30 years ago, 60% may have been attainable by the super sharp and informed, not to mention with endless outs. However, these days, no way. The market, especially football, is way too efficient.

At any rate, this nonsense will always exist in this industry, and unfortunately, some people will be hurt by it financially. I can't do anything about that, but I can do something about it when it happens on this site.............
