Red Raiders SEC picks 11/10/2012

Vandy +3 (I like this one so much it scares me a little)
Georgia -15
South Carolina -14

The West has pretty much had their way with the East the last few years. I think the balance of power has changed somewhat.

I am loooking at Vandy close too. Have to check out a few more thing but most likely will be a play for me as well.

One that jumped out at me in the SEC was Tenny -3 over Mizzou. Tenny is 4-5 and still has an outside shot to get bowl eigible winning 2 of their last 3. Mizzou is a winnable game at home with Vandy and Kentucky to finsih up the year. I think the Vols win this one at home and will probably lay this short number with them.

Mizzou is not that great epecially in a tough place to play as Knoxville.

I just don't know enough or follow Mizzou to make a call. The one thing that sticks out to me is that both have under achieved and at times have just played really bad football. I guess I would lean toward the Vols because playing in Knoxville is very tough. Again, I just haven't followed Mizzou as much as I have A&M, our other new SEC team. I don't like what I see in the Vols at all this year though. Heck I thought that they would have an outside shot at the East.

I have followed Missouri football for years this is not a bad football team this year. They seem to be adjusting to the speed of the SEC and I see improvement on both sides of the ball.

Mizzu is battle tested playing BAMA losing 42-10, on to Kentucky where the tigers won 33-10. And then the heart breaker in Florida losing 14-7.

This Missouri team seems to me that they are just getting the hang of things in playing a whole different level of football vs the Big 12.

I Like what I see with Missouri improving every game they should give TN all they can handle

Texas A&M +13

I am like 0 for the season on Bama but I have watched A&M quite a bit this year and I think they are defiantly playing their best football right now. I look for Bama to have just a bit of an emotional letdown after the big win last week and 13 is just too many.

Keep in mind I have thought that several times this year and they blew their opponents out. I just like the way A&M is playing right now and the only thing that concerns me is there defense a little. I do believe that they will score more than anyone has on Bama this year. I feel very good about that. Bottom line take the 13. Not going crazy and saying straight up or anything but I feel good about them getting under the number.

Adding:

Texas A&M/Bama over 57 ( I really believe that the Aggies will put up big numbers on this Alabama defense. A&M's defense although playing much better has gave up points all year. The key is does Saban go ultra conservative and try and wear the Aggies down. I don't think he will have that opportunity because he will be behind really quick if he does.

I told you that Missouri is adjusting very well to the speed of the SEC and they seemed to have found it.
