there's got to be several "uniformed"
bookies around since I doubt all such
    people are computer oriented. Even
pagers can be slow to the moves at times.
I got to start hitting the college campus bars more often.

next millenium....hey that's in three weeks!

Your best bet for finding private BMs would be to talk to bartenders at sports bars. My partner used to be a bartender in Aspen. Everyone would ask him about getting down, and he just started booking the action himself. Even the mayor of the town played with him. According to my partner, the guy who took over his business has grown it to where it now nets over 500 dimes a week during football season.

Reno: I ran the Stardust,as you well know, during those years(83-91). We started the lottery, added the 'added games', put numbers up on Sundays, put out our own schedule and most important: WE CATERED TO WISEGUYS, GROUPS, OR SQUARES. Getting middled wasnt a bad thing for us. I cant think of a single player that middled or beat us and quit. Our clientele was back for the next mornings openers. We all played with the same 20$ Bill. I held it for twenty days a month and our players held it for only ten days.
That was the difference. That and the fact that 11 is bigger than 10. Its ironic that I work for Don Best now. I have much to add but it will have to wait till later. Like they say 'you can never go home again'. Take care. Scotty
