    Sting

and even though they read this they never respond to the accusations. I remember they use to but I guess they got tired not having anything to respond with (lying) or they just don't think our money is good enough for them. If we have complaints and nobody at the books even cares to find out why so many people are upset and so unhappy with them. They must have no reply since all we say is true, or again they think we are not worthy of their attention.

I would LOVE to see a post from a manager or anybody from those books explaining what we say about them. If we are wrong they let us know, if we are right I guess their silence is enough.

Big Book, while never guilty of no-pay or even slow-pay, is one of the worst books out there if you bet over $100 per game. They use a ten to twenty minute stalling tactic after you win just two or three bets betting $500 or $1000 per bet. The only reason to be in there is to take advantage of their occasional off lines, but after all the information provided here, why in a million years would anyone think of going in there.

Sting is dead right about ebanx. It is a scam utilized by Big Book as a supposed "independent" holding or escrow company, when indeed ebanx is very much controlled by Big Book.

When there was a problem with a bonus early in 1999, Big Book sent you to ebanx, when you got to ebanx, they sent you to Big Book. Customer service at Big Book was non-existent. In essence, they proved by their actions that they didn't want anyone in there who could possibly take a payout. They are small time and will remain small time.

By the way, Sting, while you're here, loved that article on possibility of rigged online casinos, and you're figuring how to put the house percentage in your favor on video poker. You're definitely a man after my own heart. I'll talk to you about Pai Go Poker sometime.

Boomer, the whole ebanx thing alone is enough of a red flag. It's very deceptive. The Big Book and friends could care less what gets posted here. WE are not the clients that they are looking for. As you probably recall, that FREE $20 offer had gamblers licking their lips over the past year on sites such as Wagertalk.com where they advertised for a while. Quite a few people from this forum also were enticed by that offer, however, I suspect they figure most who post here are Wiseguys or wannabe wiseguys. That $20.00 did not appeal to me (I'm certainly no wiseguy) but the thing is there are some great books out there offering 10 to 15% bonuses and depending on the deposit, it's possible to get so much more than $20.00 PLUS I heard that the $20.00 was not all that easy to get access to anyway.

I've written about The Big Book a few weeks ago and classified them as the Motel 6 of Internet gambling. Basic gist of that comparison was this: While they are very similar in the type of product being offered and the type of market they strive to go after; there is one major difference: While the Motel 6 might be a nice place to get Fvcked, we can only hope that The Big Book does not mirror THAT comparison.

I have only good things to say about GrandPrix Sportsbook, after having played there for almost two years. Deposits and withdrawals, online access, accuracy, etc, etc. This is enough to convince me that they are a different operation than the BigBook, whom everyone trashes for poor customer service. Perhaps they share buildings, maybe other things. But I don't see how they can be one and the same. Rave to GrandPrix.

I had an account with grand prix and had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS from sudden line changes( against me of course)to non existent customer service. I literally did everything in my power to get the so called manager(Gord Dillion)to respond to some of my questions they screwed me out of a bet, hung up the phones on me,constantly changed lines,if you bet more then $100 they have to call a meeting of congress to get it passed...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND THERE COUNTERPARTS(BIG BOOK,MAYAN,EBANX=WHAT A SCAM)
