Jeff, I will send you a few updates to the list later tonight...

There are a dozen Euro sportsbooks not listed on the left that are solid as a rock. Most of them don't do US sports though, though they will gladly accept American customers. They aren't scared of Uncle Sam, and the British government is much to strong for anyone to bully. Some of them are entering the US sports market, though high juice seems to be their trademark at the moment. When that goes, they could pose serious competition to the other books there.

But overall, on US sports, the Caribbean books will always provide the best bet offers. The only threat can come from Euro sportsbooks that are connected to spread betting firms. These guys are the big number crunchers, and they will put out a bet for anything.

Maybe it's a matter of sticking with what you're familiar with, but it would seem to me that some of these bigger European books are missing out on the US market.

Victor Chandler and Sportingbet are two books that come to mind, that did things the right way (in my opinion). They put people in place that new the business, and aggressivly went after it.

I guess my post was taken well out of context......all I was saying is that now that Bettorsworld is well established and has a thorough list of "Well Reputable Books".......it makes no sense to send your money to all of these fly-by-night operations. I could understand if we were still in the old fashioned days of bookmaking.......when information was not as easibly accessable!
But by no means was I ever pointing fingers at any anyone in the forum.......because if it wasn't for you then Bettorsworld would not have compiled the "clink".......so for those of you whom I have offended.....please no harm intended!

I fully agree with you Jeff. The potential is out there but few are willing to enter the market. Maybe the guys in charge don't want to throw away the chance of even going to Disney World again...

Apart from the two you mentioned, the others are well behind in the race. The concept of 20-cent lines in England is unknown, with 40-cents being the standard. A dime line would stand out like a freak of nature.

There's money to be made out there, and sooner of later these books will invade the market, but until then the Caribbean books should strengthen their position and prepare for the assault. Right now they're well ahead, though books like VC and Sportingbet have already caught up to them.
