I think the main reason for why Sportfanatik will not pay out Lim's winnings is that it means they have to pay out the winnings to 700 other clients, which will probably be a lot of money.
I had combined the Cambuur match in several parlay bets at Sportfanatik. I was very lucky and many of the bets were winners. Because of the cancelled game I lost approx $50000 of my winnings. At least that's what I think happened. After phone calls and several e-mails I have still not got an answer from Sportfanatik to what has happened to my money. It was first when I read Lim's posting that I understood that the Cambuur match must be the reason.
My winnings alone must be a good reason for Sportfanatik not to pay.
A lot of people in the Internet betting community has supported Lim by e-mailing Sportfanatik. The following is a reply from Sportfanatik to one of those mails:
"Dear Sir,
Thank You for your respond about this issue......
We have already explained this customer about this issue...
There was a date ERROR in that particular game...and we called NO Action...
It is not fair for other customers....We do not let couple people taking advantage of this kind of Errors..
There were over 700 bets in that game and most of our customers did not lose money because we called No Action....
I guess.......you can never make happy both site.....
Regards www.sportfanatik.com"
I don't know if anybody from Sportfanatik reads this message bord, but if you do maybe you can explain what you mean by: "We do not let couple people taking advantage of this kind of Errors.."
How is it possible to take advantage of a game that closes 24 hours before the start????
The incredible paradox is that the only one that is taking advantage of this Error is Sportfanatik. Even though they knew before the match that it was posted with a wrong date, they wait until after the result to cancel it. It's what we call a win-win situation. Shame on you Sportfanatik. Shame Shame Shame
