be pretty rare you would want to post a 3 total in Finland maybe the Helsinki teams vs others, perhaps........

pretty much a 2.5 goal a game league for the last few years, the start of this year an aberration - think it still probably is down around the 2.2-2.3 goal mark from feel - but the last round was around 3 goals a game

so they might want to hope not a run of overs and 3 and 4 goals a game now for a bit, to regress to the mean

It is now 28 minutes into all 4 games today, and no goals scored yet.

I heard a rumor that they use hockey nets in the Finnish Veikausliga. lol

AV, we didn't have spring this year, but last season it got warm earlier. That sort of thing has a direct effect on league soccer scores too.

One more note:

"liga" = "league" in Swedish (among others)
"liiga" = "league" in Finnish

Thus, it is "Veikkausliiga", not with Swedish spelling.

I still don't understand why people say 'I hate playing unders' especially if you don't watch it.

The reason I say that I hate betting under 2.5 goals is that this is usually the lowest total posted for soccer games.

To me, o/u 2.5 goals in soccer is like:

o/u 7 runs in baseball
o/u 175 in basketball

I automatically think over when I see totals that are in the lowest range possible for any particular sport, and the under when the totals reach the highest possible range.

I have seen o/u starting at 2 goals for some of the Italian Series B, and French Division 2 games, and I always play the over.

the standard soccer total is 2.5, almost all the time - who is whacky and varies it?

Olympic posted o/u of 2 on some of their Italian Series B, and French Division 2 games.

You are probably familiar with these two leagues, and know that the scoring totals were very low.

If Olympic didn't open at 2, then they would open at 2.5, with the over ranging from +120 to +160.

As you know, all the games went under today.

I hate to go under 2.5 goals, which was the line on all the games today at Olympic, and I would have had to lay -130.

But if there ever is a league to play unders in, the Finnish Veikausliiga is it. This is just a guess, but I bet that at least 65-75 per cent of the games played this year have gone under 2.5 goals.
