To answer ? #1. Man betting limit @60+%, then repeats feat? I'd ride him like a camel across the Mohave until he broke down. He's an asset not a liability. Let me clarify something. I'm the boss and major shareholder not a worker.

To answer ? #2. How does one determine a scalper? Well first of all he only plays when I'm way off market price(ok). He wouldn't play me a game that I put up a makeshift line on. If the screen was blank and I put up an obvious wrong favorite and told him its ok to play, he wouldn't know what to do. In summation, they only move when they have aces wired. Who said "they eat at the fabric of the business"?

Reality...Of course. I had to have the blessings of whoever to book the way I wanted to. After 8 yrs a change in casino upper management wanted to take the phones out and get rid of the outfits. I lost the juice battle. He won. I quit rather than kick out players management deemed sharp. I would do the same thing again...Scotty

Scotty just answered your question! He had bosses that knew he was sharp enough to handle a FIRST CLASS sports book. He could have chased ANYONE he wanted, ANYTIME he wanted! He was the BOSS of the BOOK!

I'm not a fan of Scottys or anybody else, but they knew how to run a sports book. I learned alot from those years betting/middling/scalping at the Stardust. I am glad I was there and not at the other CLONE JOINTS in Vegas at the time. (Yes there were CLONE JOINTS back then too)
