Love the new format, especially once i rebooted and got rid of the black borders! Speed seems the same to me.

JC, I'm a Macintosh fan, too. My first was a Mac Plus, circa 1986. I now own three of 'em (a little more modern versions).
But for browsing the web, I find the PC faster. And some sites just haven't done a good job making it 100% standard, and haven't bothered to check it out from a Mac platform. So some sites just won't work properly.

On my personal machine, I use Linux almost exclusively and run into similar Java related problems. A lot of the time, Netscape will just lock up entirely. Fortunately BW is also Linux friendly!

I'll third jc's and sportshobby's comments. I love Macs but JAVA just crushes my iMAC. My pc laptop is much better for websurfing and doesn't die due to lots of java. wish apple (or someone) would figure this out.
I love the new colors. very much easier to read. Wish we could make the reading area for the forums bigger though. there's so much stuff above, below and beside now that the actual viewing area is really tiny.
