It was defined to me as bonus cash to be used as betting currency or for one of there premium items.

Please remember I was told that the bonus would be returned if I won the bet from there customer service dept.

If you are offered a 10% cash bonus or 20% free play bonus under the policy that I just fell victim to, you would have to be a moron to not take the cash.

Basically the bonus cost Casablanca nothing. I won the wager and lost the bonus -- what kind of bonus program is that.

I am not trying to screw Casablanca out here. I have accounts with three other BW advertisers. My account is in good standing with all of them.

The 20% Bonus is a FREE PLAY for all New Accounts and Re-Activations of old accounts. This is directly from the website:

"New account that open with $250 or more get
a FREE WAGER equal to 20% of their deposit
Deposit $250 and get a FREE $50 Bet On Us!"

However, if you decide that you do not want the FREE PLAY and would rather have a bonus credited to your account then you would be subject to our 5X's & 30 day rule.

I suggest that you call me so we can go back to the tapes to find out if you were offered the bonus. We have had numerous people decide to take the free play and then complain after they won to try to get us to credit the bonus back to their account. I am sure this is not the case but I will feel better after we check.

We also offer a 10% Free Play to all customers who re-up active accounts with $500 or more and pick up the fees for deposits of $250 or more.

Thanks for the quick response. The information was given to me via your live help section over the internet.

I hope that you are able to record the type from those conversations.

I was given the information on Saturday or Sunday over the weekend.

I can only tell you what I was told -- that on a winning wager the money would be returned.

If you choose to not credit the money back that is your choice. If it was correctly explained to me I would have taken the cash.

I dont want any of my BW partners to fall into the same trap that I did.

This is one good example of another misunderstanding. In this case I don't really know "who is who" but it sounded that Kapper was told that the $400 will be kept if wager wins, then it should be that way.

Casablanca is a good out, I really have nothing much against them, I was treated right, service is good, payout is outstanding but if "miscommunication" continues, I am pretty sure customers will start to go somewhere else. Good luck!!

Even as an attorney, these bonus programs are too confusing for me to understand. I think that Casablanca needs to simplify its program so that it is not confusing to new depositors.

There is only one "True" Bonus. 5% Juice EVERY Day. You save hundreds, if not thousands over the course of the year. Most of the bonuses given out have so many restrictions and policies and basically are just free money given to you that you can only lose and never win or get given to you as true cash. 5% Juice is a real bonus. It saves you real money. It starts from your first wager and never ends.

Top of the world- you said in another thread you would only address questions directed at you. This has nothing to do with you. Who wants to read your constant ad campaign? You haven't contributed one useful piece of info to this forum yet. Just my 2 cents.

Deac, you said it right. The players get confused, the clerks get confused, and miscommunication prevails.

The simpler, the better.

I think Dave is doing a great job at Casablanca, and I have confidence that he'll find a way to deal fairly with the bonus situations.

My problem with TOP OF THE WORLD SPORTS is they are in CURACAO. Except for SPORTSMARKET, which is rock solid, I wouldn't trust any of the start-ups there. Several books have gone belly-up and the "officials" there did absolutely nothing for everyone who was ripped off. I've received TOP OF THE WORLD mailings and they might be fine, but I can't even consider opening there based on the track record.

Actually, I think Curacao is currently one of the best locations for books.....

Bonus Policy

New Accounts:

Deposit $500 or more and get 20% FREE PLAY BONUS

or if you specify that you do not want the free play option #2

Deposit $500 or more and get a 20% Deposit Bonus (cannot be removed until play 5 x's deposit amount and 30 days in account)

I understand this may be confusing to some but we created the two options to be flexible. If anything the flexibility and choice involved with this bonus is a plus for
the player.
