I want everyone to join me in supporting the wonderful work of this site. I had a potential dispute with a book about a bonus. I inadvertantly did not give them the amount of play they required and they wanted to confiscate my bonus of $600.00. I had no problem with leaving the money in there, since I liked the book anyway and was going to send more money when I tapped out anyway. I sent two emails and got no response. In the second email I politely told them that they can keep the money in the account instead of a drawdown, I'll even send you more and that since I was at fault I would even pay the transfer fees. They're lack of response frustrated me and I mentioned that I am a member of the gambling community and that if they do not let me make this right and reinstate my bonus I will log my exact experience with them on Bettorsworld Odds Wiz.
The problem was resolved to everyone's satisfaction and Odds Wiz never had to get involved. But what a powerful and wonderful friend we have here on this site. In the past before I knew of this forum, I remembered thinking to myself, what am I going to do if I have a problem. I, mean up to about two months ago, it really stopped me from making the kind of substantial wagers I would have liked to (one to three dimes per) for fear I wouldn't get paid or I would get cheated.
The more we stick together, share information and police the sportsbooks by putting out on this site TRUTHFUL information, the more power we have as a group, until we reach that wonderful day where no one ever gets stuck by a book nopay or ripoff and we can concentrate on winning our bets, not collecting once we have won. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I have enough trouble picking winners withot having to worry about collecting.
By visiting, posting, replying and becoming a member of this site, you who respond with your experiences and you who've created the site can create the kind of environment where everyone benefits. Books will be rewarded in new business for prompt payouts and great customer service and gamblers will be rewarded in real dollars saved by not venturing into scary territory. Only the charletans need beware, we as a group will drive them out of business by providing quick and accurate information about their shy dealings. Thank you Odds Wiz, thank you fellow gamblers, thank you Bettors World. You all have personally saved me thousands of dollars in lost payouts by prewarning me where not to venture.
