if and when his remarks need to be interprated, we will gladly let the courts make the decision on that.

we take it as a threat just as we have with past threats from that side-those people.

we will continue to operate under standard business protocol and let the people who can't be successful under that same protocol go elsewhere to do business.

FWIW, the line is from the movie "Casino", and was made by Robert DeNiro's character in reference to Joe Pesci's character. It's a voiceover shortly after Pesci beats down someone in a bar for making a wiseass remark to Bobby D(telling him to "stick a pen up your f'n ass"). As best as I can recollect, it went something like this:

"You beat Nicky(Pesci)with fists, he comes back with a bat; beat him with a knife, he comes back with a gun. And if you beat him with a gun you better kill him because he'll come back and back until one of you is dead"

Also worth noting is the fact that he uses the term "slander" inappropriately--the word he wants to use is "libel", which refers to written communication. Slander is verbal communication. He must have been out extorting money from the audio-visual club on the day they covered that concept in college.

I've sort of come in during the middle of this dispute, but I've known Jeff since before there *was* a Bettorsworld--since not long after Al Gore invented the Internet. He's been a no BS, straight shooter for as long as I've known him. Just knowing what side he's on in any dispute tells me alot...

I just never thought I'd live to hear a lawyer use the line "I'll bring 10 grand cash on me and it's yours if you can take
it off me". That's a classic....
