I'm trying to compile a table with all fees associated with Neteller and Paypal. Correct me if I'm wrong on any of these or if there's any info I should include.
Sending:
Neteller:
Bettors: free
Merchants: 2% up to a maximum of $30.
Pay Pal:
Bettors: free
Merchants: free
Receiving:
Neteller:
Bettors: free
Merchants: 3.9%
Pay Pal:
Bettors: free
Merchants: 2.2% + 30c
Maximum amount per transaction:
Neteller: $2500
Pay Pal: ??? anyone?
Discounts:
Neteller offers volume discounts for merchants.
Pay Pay offers a 0.7% + 30c fee for Pay Pal preferred merchants (any books reached this status?)
Transfers between friends:
You can also transfer between friends at both places. Neteller charge is 1.95% rounded up to the rearest dollar, $1 minimum charge. You can send between $15-5000. Pay Pal transfers between friends (standard members) are free. Anyone know the limits involved (doesn't matter in this case, might be of use to Premier clients)?
Customer service:
As far as customer service is concerned, Neteller has top customer service, on par with the best of sportsbooks. Pay Pal on the other hand has had bad reports.
Availability:
Neteller is more widely available than Pay Pal with regards to sportsbooks. Neteller concentrates on the sportsbetting industry while Pay Pal seems to be focused on internet auctions.
Anyone know why Pay Pal says that Premier accounts are for those with a high transactional volume? I think the opposite is the case unless they will be using a CC. Also, I don't include any info on which is better/easier to use with US bank accounts as I moved my banking offshore 3 years ago.
