  • 76ers @ Bulls Preview

    Philadelphia 76ers (5-11) @ Chicago Bulls (8-9)
    9:00 pm Eastern
    ESPN
    Opening Line: Bulls - 9

The red hot Chicago Bulls look to win their sixth straight when they take on the slumping Philadelphia 76ers tonight.
SBG Globalreports that even with the hot streak, the betting public is taken the 76ers plus the points.

The Bulls have been playing great since their last loss, a 123-108 decision to Philadelphia on Nov. 24. Allen Iverson had a season-high 46 points in that game. Since that loss the Bulls have won five in a row and have won by an average of 13.4 points per game. Monday's win was the second game of a season-high eight-game home stand. The Bulls are in a stretch where they are playing 22 of 30 games at the United Center, where they're 5-1 on the year.

While the Bulls-Sixers game on the 24th was a turning point for Chicago it was also a turning point for Philly, but not a good one. The 76ers haven’t won since that night. The Sixers have dropped four straight, and 11 of 13. The 76ers haven’t lost five straight since a six-game streak two years ago.

The Bulls are a 9 point home favorite with a total of 198 at
    SBG Global.

"I don't have any answers for what's going on," said Iverson "We're not having no fun out there on the basketball court. That has a lot to do with losing." Iverson is averaging 37.3 points in his last four games against the Bulls. Luol Deng leads the Bulls with an 18.1-points-per-game average. He scored 28 points against Philadelphia on Nov. 24.

The 76ers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Wednesday games. They are also 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following an ATS loss. Philly is only 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. the Central.

The Bulls are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and they are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games. Chicago is a stellar 22-6 ATS in their last 28 vs. the Atlantic. The Bulls are also 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 vs. the Eastern Conference and they are 20-8-1 ATS in their last 29 games as a favorite.

The Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Chicago between the two teams.

The 76ers are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Chicago and the road team is 16-6 ATS in the last 22 meetings between the two teams.
