Here are my plays for tonight:

Manhattan -5.5...think they win by 10 easy L...Only won by 4

Niagra -4...think they pull out a 6 pt victory...this one should be close. L..They are getting hammered right now. I expected more from them..they are a good team.

Like the Loyola pick..not so sure about Harvard..i'm with you but I could see this game being a big game for Dartmouth...they haven't played since they just got pounded by Harvard on 1/5/08. That game was at Harvard where Harvard has played very well. Harvard is 0-9 on the road however...so is Harvard good enough to overcome their 0-9 road record and the fact that the team they beat by 26 hasn't played anyone else since and will be looking for some mighty revenge? This game scares me too much to wager on..but I do think Harvard is the better team..and like most small lines..with a lead late they should be able to pull out the cover with some free throws and missed desperation threes.

Looks like 0-2 on the posted picks...i also made a play on rider which was a winner..so 1-3 for me on the day. Should have bet on loyola...that was a solid play..and I just had the feeling that dartmouth would avenge their 26 point loss no matter what the numbers said about the game. Just glad i didn't wager on it because I would have never taken dartmouth.

Does anybody understand a BAD banged up UK playing Vandy and the line only being Vandy -1.5. Some one talk me out of this before I do something stupid please! I know it is at Rupp but was so G-Webb, San Diego, L-ville. Vandy is better than all those teams in my opinion.

I think the vandy line is the way that it is because they haven't done well against the spread...and they don't play very good D...I can see Kentucky hanging in this one...but at the same time if things get out of hand early i see kentucky mailing it in and losing by 20

Definitely with you on that Texas game Wisconsin. I don't see Mizzou hanging with Texas even though the game is at home. I played Texas and Vandy large today. Here is to hoping I didn't outsmart myself.

Kind of short on time today.

Also played Montana -8 over Sac State. May be a little steep but think they still win.

I am going to zero in on the Big 12 after I watch home the opening day goes in conf. play. 2 go against team on the road are colorado and Iowa State.

I think K-State is a team to watch, thus I played against ISU and played on K-State today.

Think Michigan can win SU at NWestern but kind of a weird line.

Not much other method behind the madness, more gut today and see how it plays out. Huge board and I am going to watch more then play today to see how teams respond.

I do like the way Wash St plays D and I think they have a shot to win at UCLA today.

Wow...struggling in obth games...Mizzou can't miss and Vandy is turning the ball over before you can say Ogilvy, oh wait he is in foul trouble...These two games will hurt quite a bit! Must regroup...taking the rest of the day off.

Well..no post yesterday and good thing too because I was wrong on most of my picks. I did have memphis, kansas, and arizona right..but all the medium sized schools i got pounded in..throw in texas and vandy and i got doubly pounded as i threw some large wagers on them. Knew those lines were too good to be true..oh well...here are a few plays for today:

Louisville -12..think they rout..rutgers doesn't have much offense
Alabama +8.5..think they keep it close
Duke -14.5..think they finally start playing like the team they are
Stanford +2...think they pull out a win
and my alma mater chippewas -2.5 over ball state

I like Duke today also. I am also leaning with Rhode Island, they are a much better team than Duquesne and they should be looking for a bit of revenge after that Dayton game and I see this one finishing in a double digit victory.
