If the Saint isn't injured the game is probably over at 35-24. Roddy White grabs a guy with both arms and then pushes off and gets away with it for 7. Un-freakin-believable.

That was a big Moose. First bad beat due to an injury. Saints should have taken a knee on each play. Few seconds less off the clock but safer.

That's what happens sometimes when your giving points. At some point in the game, BOTH teams can be playing against you.

I got lucky and teased the Saints down to -5. Whew! But had them in anothr contest -10.5. Ouch.

Missed FGs both ways also. Gut-wrenching game for the degenerate gamblers!

Like you Widestrides, but the Saints were lucky just to win that one. I'm not so sure the best team won. It will all pan out in the end. Falcons will be heard from again. Saints are overated and it will show down the stretch. No way they end up in the superbowl. Giants, Minnesota, and maybe even Philly or the Cowboys have something to say about it. GL RR84

Yeah, well I actually ended up winning 1 stinking dollar (as in $1). I had Saints -11, and a 6 pt teaser Saints -5.5/OV 50, and then an in-running bet with the Saints down 14-7, Saints -4 for the game.
However, I lost the Hilton pick, Carney's missed 37 yarder cost me the highest point total (and cash) for the week in one of my FF leagues, and that last meaningless Saint INT cost me a game in another league by .25 pts.

No, you have a lot of cash in your pocket because of Dinger.

No, actually in the end it was all about percentages. Yes, I went with Dinger, but that wasn't all!!!! Give you just a few reasons but not all why rr84 did what he did.

1)Dinger not that bad of a capper and hadn't won a game!!
2)you are not as good as you are doing and had the saints(67.5% to be exact)
3)when I checked on sports-bettors, the people I look at, it was 20-7 on Saints. Knowing that the books have had there ass handed to them lately mine especially, I knew I had a winner.

Maybe all the above makes me crazy, but I do my homework. I never wager on a guess. I look at the PERCENTAGES!!!!! I can make pretty write up of how a team could win or lose, but in the end, successful gambling is all about percentages!!!

Well, it was because of a couple of absolute flukes of the most bizarre-o kind that the Saints didn't cover the -10. There is no way you can factor that kind of shit in. Anyone who had the Falcons at +10 to +11 was just plain stupid lucky to win that one. Watch the last few minutes of the game again. If you want to call that "percentages", that's your call. I did mention however, that at +12 the value was starting to favor the Falcons, and that I liked it more at -10. BTW, I do this for entertainment purposes and have never purported to be "good". About half of it is luck anyway, as we saw firsthand in this game. But if you'd like to stick your ass on the line every week for public scrutiny and criticism, be my guest. You sure like to spout of when you're right, let's see how you do.

Hmmmmm, I do this for money, I have no other reason!!! Like I told someone else. I think jpehl, I could lay down 20 picks and you could bet against me all day. I never claim to be best capper. But I do know how to bust my books ass. So, sorry if you don't like my style, like to get along with everyone but I'm not here to make friends, just money!!!!!!!!!!!!!
