Everybody was on Ohio and they never got it going.

woodee, I tailed you on that Okie State pick and we got lucky in OT. Garret played every minute! And a technical foul for an elbow made the margin big enough to cover. You just never know how the ball will bounce with hoops at the end. Foul shooting, meaningless 3s, etc.

I agree with you on the Okie State game. It doesn't matter how you cap when a win is win. It's great when it plays out the way you planned it, makes you look like a genious! LOL Just like I said Purdue would win but not cover, ummm...I was sweating out the SU win!

That was a gift win by Okie State...I needed one like that. Usually I am on the opposite ---having the dog who wins the whole game but loses in OT!

WTF is up with Ohio U--I thought they were supposed to win the MAC?

        Thursday--

Arizona +9.5 over Washington...Man be buying a trap here but I think AZ is a good team that can hang and not enough talent gap for a 9 point spread. BUT see Texas-Texas A&M last night too as the line was 7 in a game between #10 and #11 and Texas cruised by 20? So buyer beware on this one.

            woodee,

Like your New Mex St play today, but against you in Washington game. Like Washington to win by double digits at home.
            Plays today:

            New mex St +3
            Washington -9 1/2
            Clevland st -9 1/2
            N. Tx -6 1/2
            Gonzaga -8

Just as a I thought on the AZ/Wash game...I swear 75% + of those hit when the line is too big between 2 good teams. See a 7-9 point line with a perceived evenly matched game, epecially ranked teams, and there is a good chance the home fav will win and cover.

I don't know what really happened to NM State? That one seemed like a solid dog play to me but SF turned out to be the better one.

I'm on Michigan St. -6.5. This team is just to talented to get beat bad again on the road. I can see Purdue struggling at home with this team. I would be stunned to see the Boilers take down Sparty by 7 or more. I see Purdue winning by 2-4 (I wouldn't be surprise even if they lose at the end). Both teams are well coached and evenly matched. Should be another good Big Ten game.

I can see that. I think Purdue can win but will be a close one I bet.

But then I am really bad right now. I cannot pick my nose correctly.

And the games I do peg right end up blowing up late.

Here the rest ofg my card today..I would fade and win...

                  Arizona +3 at Wazzu

                  Auburn +11 vs. bama

No AZ -2 vs whoever the play

                  Portland +1 at S. Clara

Lean to Mizzou -9.5 over Iowa State too.

I am most lilely taking a break after today.

I have had huge halftime leads blown today, with Kansas and Ohio U. Had a win sunk by stupid FT at the end with Ilinois and more bad beats in progress...

If I could have a tema who came from behind even once today, I'd be happy. The gambling Gods gave me Okie State this week, and now they are punishing me for that win that should have been a loss.

I really think if I picked against myself, I'd be up a couple house payments right now! I am glad I bet small or I'd be in trouble!

Got to shake it off Woodee. It goes in cycles. That Illini loss was bad, a bad bounce pass in the line and a couple of rimming FT that dropped were the downfall. It least it was a good bet and you didn't miss it by a mile (sort of like my O in DAL/Bulls, which I probably needed triple OT to win).

yeah, all you can ask for is for your team to be in down the wire I guess. But in hoops the FT's are the difference between a win and a loss.

                            MONDAY:

K-State -5 over Baylor...I am buts for backing them again but i will do it. They will either burn me again or I will catch them while they get their act together finally.

Idaho State +2.5 Over Montana St

Lean on Notre Dame but probably won't pull the trigger--maybe in the first half+6 possible as Pitt has been slow starters at times.

my gosh...I actually won something last night. I shyed away from ND but they won SU.

                              Tuesday-

Syracuse -12.5 ovr S Hall...Will be a huge 20+ Cuse win or Hall hangs all game and has a shot to win SU. Hazzell is back for SH but hes still trying to find his groove. I always hate laying a bunch of points but Cuse at home, off a loss, to a bad road team...worth a shot.

Leaning Marquette over Conn and Kanasa over Colorado in a ML parlay too.

                              Also, studying...
                              Dayton -2 over Richomond
                              G tech +3 over VT

                                Add:

                                Georgia -2.5 over Florida

                                Marquette -4 over UConn

Colorado +7.5 over KU...KU seems to struggle at Colorado and a tough place to play. I feel like it will be a close one after further review.
