I went with Washington and under 5 tonight.
You're right about at least one off day between games,
but I'm sure this back to back was pushed to get specific
games on specific days for the next round by NBC.

I like that better than the NBA's spacing of their series that
drag on and on......

Under 5.5 pens-Ottawa. Pens using their other goalie.

San Jose +1.5 parlayed with Chicago on Wednesday.

Check out goals 5 and 6 for the Pens tonight.
Sweet plays. They brought in Jokinen who
doesn't have much speed, but he wins faceoffs
which gives Iginla some open shots on their second line.
The favorites right now??? The Pens have scored at
least 4 or more goals in 8 of the 10 games played.

Rooting for the hawks but think there's good value with Detroit +1.5 , -160. Even with that high juice it's going to be around 5 goals scored I think without any empty net goals.

The Black hawks are about to play a mirror image of themselves when they face LA KINGS.

You have to factor in travel and jetlag. I know it is always harder to adjust traveling West to East time zones and Chicago has home ice. This is a intangible in the hawks favor.

Two great goalies, fast play by both teams this should be a great series and every game close. I do not think any team will win a game in this series by more than one goal.

Expected to see a 4.5 total come up for today's opener.
Of the 25 playoff games played by these teams so far,
14 have been under 5 goals and 5 have been played
where the total ended right at 5.

Crazy start to the series. Hawks have come out playi fast like they did to start the season. I think la gets at least 1 at home. Probably the next one.

Tues June 4
Took M/L play on Chi +105 about 2 hrs ago. Since then, the M/L
has gone to +109 on some sites. L.A. has moved from -109 to
anywhere from -114 to -120. Might be on the wrong side of this
one, but I think the Hawks at almost even money are a good play
tonight.

I made a mistake and that was not looking at home and away results.
Minor, but there were games from the previous rounds that supported
Chicago taking the first two home games.

I took the kings tonight. Just from watching the first 2 minutes, I think the hawks are the better play. Too quick and attacking for la I think.

Different Hawks team tonight.
Great when short-handed, but the playmakers are absent.
They are playing much like the Pens in their first game of this round.

This may mean nothing from a capping edge , but I thought it was still
an interesting stat.
Since the Hawks won the Cup:
Kane, 1 goal in 27 playoff games
Toews, 3 goals in 34 playoff games

6/7 Friday
O/U for Pens/Bruins was 5.5 today. Looks like the under
will get it. Boston has done a tremendous job of keeping
the Pen's big scorers off the board. Neal doesn't quit, but
he can't find the open shot. I also think Crosby got off his
game at the start (trying to be an enforcer) and it just put
the Pens, as a team, off.

Wish more followed the sport, but it is what it is....still
the best playoffs to watch when your team isn't involved.
Update: Correct stat for Kane (through last night) s/b 3 goals
in 29 playoff games.

LA KIngs +160 vs. Chicago--I think they extend the series tonight. Chicago just slipped by on the road and Quick has been great in goal for the Kings. Again, I am rooting for the hawks but just did not see the spark last time out even tho they got the W, and may be a let down here for this game.

Also parlayed the Kings +1.5 with the Miami Heat ML for some extra fun.
