I agree with widestrides this is less of a mock contest. The line movement will create value on the static contest lines. Also, eastern timezone players will have the benefit of early morning while us on the west coast would have to adjust by 6am (5am if using the 8am est).

I like the Sunday 800am EST deadline, and the direction the contest is going. It doesn't matter what your strategy is. You still have to pick the most right. They are also your choices and strategy. Worrying about line movements and Super contest picks does not mean anything. All players have the same opportunities to pick the teams.

The point wasn’t about “worrying” it was that this isn’t a mock hilton with these rules but rather another nfl contest.

And yes, all contests are about picking the right teams but what makes the hilton so difficult is that you get one chance and you do not benefit (‘you’ referring to all contestants) from sunday morning line movements.

Will still be fun just making the points of differentiation from previous years and the contest name.

Your right. I understand that it's not a Mock. I do like the improvement and I like seeing who everyone picks at least 1 hour before kickoff. There are 2-3 that I definitely follow with my wagering. I don't want to jinx them by listing names. Good luck Resteasy and I am on CMall like you are too. I'm Steeler82 on there.

I agree in that this is not the MOCK HILTON contest anymore. If lines change, and you an change picks then it is a variation NFL pick em contest. The real contest works for a reason.

i am totally fine with doing it this way but it is way off from before. I prefer the historical edition but I also know how hard it is to score and keep up with it so a change is needed unless someone can score/post lines in the firum like the old days. I just don't have thee time at this point in my family life!

As I stated before we'll not be changing lines from the superbkook contest. So those lines will still be in use.

im for keeping everything the same as previous years. once u make. your picks no changing allowed. this is supposed to be the mock hilton contest. changing picks seems like it will be nightmare. Deadline im ok with 2:00 AM est. making changes most guys will go with line moves even though the line doesnt change. make your picks and live with it. thats the fun of the contest
