Thanks Possum for the lines- The entire betting world is trying to figure out what teams shows up in week one and that sure includes the books- Going to be a fun open week.

Some say this is the softest you will find lines is in week one where no one really has a clue.

I see a lot of unfamiliar names entered in our contest. That's good. Maybe some folks are finding us through the pool hosting site. But how do they find out about the $50 entry fee, etc? There is no Manager's Message. Let's encourage all comers who might find us through the pool hosting site. Put the link to the entry thread in the Manager's Message. This is one important thing we can do for Jeff and the Bettorsworld site - attract some new visitors.

Also, it says Rolling Deadline is enabled. I don't think you want that, do you? Need to set a custom deadline. I guess we settled on 8 AM ET because it still is not possible to make a custom deadline after 8 PM Saturday or before 8 AM Sunday?

Why not open it up as a Public Pool and get some more players? I'm sure Jeff would like that.

Are you having trouble with the pool host site? Pick a different user name if it does not accept the one you try. Someone else may have it.

5AM PST or after the kickoff for example once tonight's game kickoffs you'll see all the picks for that game if anybody played it.

FINAL PICKS DEADLINE: 5AM PST or 8AM EST SUNDAY

THURSDAY RULE- If you play thursdays game, you must enter at least a total of 5 picks (*thursday play + 4 others) when you place your Thursday play per the pool host site rules. You CAN go back and edit after the Thursday game too if you don't want to pick all your final games by Thursday kickoff---This is different than before. But once you play the Thursday game, it is locked in as one of your plays for the week.

For example, If you know you want to play the Packers tonight, but haven't totally finalized your other picks for the week, you can submit your Packers play with 4 others that can or might not be your final picks for the sunday/monday games. You can go in an edit your other 4 plays up until the deadline noted above.

All other plays must be final by the deadline as you won't be able to go back and change your picks after the deadline i.e Sunday night game/monday night games. Your final card must be in (5 plays) by the 8am EST deadline on Sunday morning.
