Something odd is going on.

Could anybody explain why everybody is using the same numbers on these College games? It is 7:41 eastern and everybody is -6 on Mississippi, everybody is -3 on N C Charlotte, L S U is -2.5, And Cincinnati is -16 !!!!!!!

Is this business that lame? Are people that mindless? What's going on? I don't care what anyone thinks... This industry is run by very sad people with no GAMBLE!!!!!!!!

Polar, what's amazing is that even ultra-conservative, uptight, empty-suit corporate Las Vegas has more variety in their betting lines than the offshore industry. We now live in a "Brave New" copycat, clone world. And offshore sportsbooks, apparently, are no exception to this trend. Everywhere we go we see the same type shopping centers, chain stores, fast-food restaurants, housing tracts and apartment complexes. Every city in the USA is starting to look the same. And next,it will be the world. It is depressing, for example, to go to so-called exotic Thailand and see a 7-11 store. Eventually, you will not be able to go anywhere that doesn't look just like Los Angeles.

I am totally appalled by this cloning on all levels of society and technology. And I will not accept it until science can clone me a perfect copy of Pamela Anderson. At that point, I will admit defeat, sell out, and become a convert as well as spokesperson for the wonders and benefits of the "Brave New" world of Clones.

The Don Best Vegas sportsbooks, unlike the offshore books, don't seem to pay attention to the Don Best screen. They just seem to move on action. Also, their opening lines are not just copied from CRIS, they are opinionated.

The real problem, as I see it, is a lack of qualified BMs at offshore books. These people lack knowledge and don't want to take chances with the numbers. For example, If I were a hockey BM, I'd clone my opening numbers too, because I know very little about the sport and have no intelligent opinion regarding the lines. However, I do know baseball, and I would definitely, strongly opinionate those opening lines. So, it comes down to knowledge and having a money-man who would let an independent, knowledgable BM do his own thing with the numbers.

Cloning opening lines is understandable. However,the worst thing many offshore book do is to constantly update their lines without action. All that does is reduce their handle and cost them money in the long run. Just like Scott Shettler, the ex- Stardust sportsbbok manager said in a post in Betorsworld: "The dummies would copy our lines and lose money." The Stardust moved only on action, and they made money every month Scott was there because of this philosophy. The other books would update on air and make a mere fraction of what the Dust did.

There are many ways that you can promote your books in here, but by far you are doing the worst that I have ever seen.

Comon, at least try to tell people something about the products and the service that Looselines is currently offering, not just coming here and try to bash others everyday for some nonsense reasons.

Would you please offer us and your customers the lines for those 5 games before Roxy hang out the lines?

Would you please show us the color of a real bookmaker?

All those teams will not play on Monday, so I guess you have no problems at all to give us the lines early, right?

I find it funny that people complain about Clone lines, but when a Book like SIA or Big Book or EasyBets actually post a line based on ther own action, or maybe take an opinion on a game, rather than The Don Best Screen, people are worried that their lines are "off" and how could they do that and be "safe". Guess you can't please all the people all of the time.

I said this before and I would like to say it again,

to a bettor or a player, clone lines or not isn't really a big deal. If you are sharp enough, you can beat any lines. If you are not (like me), you can simply pass it and play another game.

Clone lines is only a nightmare to the middlers.

As a sportsbook or a BM, if you really believe this "clone lines thing" is a joke,

then step up and post your own overnight lines every evening before Roxy got their lines up.

I gurantee you will have hundreds and thousands new customers.

Guesser, just for the record, I would not include Easybets as a book that moved on action. This past baseball season, they simply moved on air, constantly updating their lines to match the Dust's. The Dust would, believe it or not, only take $200 or $300 on the phone, and move their line on this minute amount of action. Anyone could easily manipulate Easybet's lines just by betting at the Dust.
