This week the Seahawks are looking to put some distaNCe between themselves and the rest of the NFC West when they make the jOurney to Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers are going to have their hands full going against the number one defense in the league who has only allowed 17.3 points per Game.
The Bucs are, on the other hand, the 24th ranked defense allowing 25.9 points per Game. The Seahawks are finally getting their offense moving at the right time of year and are glad to welcome back running back Thomas Rawls to a backfield that has featured Christine Michael. Christine Michael has since moved on to the Green Bay Packers. Thomas Rawls lead the way as far as touches are coNCerned last week for the Seahawks.
The Seahawks also have a solid change of pace back from Notre Dame in CJ Prosise. Prosise ripped off a 72-yard touchdown run last week. The Seahawks have a great balaNCe between the run Game and passing Game. Jimmy Graham has been looking like his New Orleans self again. That spells trouble for the rest of the league.
The Bucs beat the Chiefs last week. That’s a quality win over a very good opponent. The Bucs kept themselves in contention for the NFC South title with that win last week.
The Seahawks defense can be suffocating at times. Especially against a young quarterback that is known to make some poor decisions on the football field. The Bucs have tried to establish the run all season. They didn’t have a ton of success yardage wise last week, but still managed to pull out a victory.
The Seahawks are starting to hit on all cylinders and the Bucs are going to have to pitch darn near a perfect Game to have a chance to win this one.
