TRIPLE CROWN ODDS May 2009 Each year for the past 31 years, excitement builds after the running of the Kentucky Derby, and Odds are set on whether or not their will be a Triple Crown winner. This year is no exception. Currently the Odds on whether or not Mine that Bird will win the Triple Crown are 13/1. Or you can bet the field, and bet against their being a Triple Crown winner, in which case you would have to LAY 21/1 odds

Every year race fans get their hopes up. Every year since 1978 they have been disappointed. Past history suggests that this is not a good wager to make.
