Why is Sportsbook.com one of my favorite places for Sports Betting?
For starters, they show appreciation for their customers, whether their customers win or lose. It's something that, for me anyways, separates sportsbook.com from the pack. I can't tell you how many times the UPS truck has come down my driveway with a package I'm not expecting. I open it up, and there's a gift from Sportsbook.com. Totally unexpected. I have received a short wave radio. Luggage. Shirts, and hats. A money clip. I honestly can't name all of the things I have received from Sportsbook.com over the years. I even have a friend who has gone to some NFL games and got to sit in the luxury boxes, all courtesy of Sportsbook.com. Just for being a customer.
Let's face it, any book can take your wagers. It's when a book goes out of their way to show appreciation for your business that really makes them stand out. Such is the case with Sportsbook.com.
Of course free gifts is not the only reason I count sportsbook.com among my favorites. The main reason is because they have some great lines and some additional perks that no other sportsbooks offer.
One of my favorites is the baseball slaughter rule. Sportsbook.com defines the Slaughter Rule as getting beat by 10 runs or more once the final score is posted. If you bet the UNDER in a game where the Slaughter Rule is in effect, Sportsbook.com will refund your losing UNDER wagers. For example; if you bet under 10.5 Runs, and the final score is 14-1, or 16-3, or 11-0, your UNDER wager will be refunded.
Imagine making a bet as described above, and getting your money back for being WRONG!! I have had the benefit of the slaughter rule work for me numerous times over the years. What a nice surprise to do your figures in the morning and be able to grade a game a push instead of a loss with this rule. Even better if you are scalping the game and played both sides. You would win your other bet outright and push the sportsbook.com bet!
