Out of all eight of the NBA playoff match ups this post season,
this series with LeBron James taking on Gilbert Arenas and company
will be one of the best along with the Spurs and Suns.
These two teams match up with each other pretty evenly, obvious
no one besides Kobe Bryant can really play one on one with King
James, but honestly, if the Wizards have a healthy Gilbert Arenas
and can somewhat contain LeBron from doing what he did to Detroit
last season, Washington will win this series.
The Wizards Caron Butler, Antawn Jamison and role players like
Deshawn Stevenson will be key for the Wizards against the Cavs as
they will cause match up problems all series long. If the Cavs can
figure out a way to stop Arenas and his talented supporting cast
then I believe the Cavs have a chance to take the series in 6 or 7
games, but if they can’t keep up then Gilbert and his boys will be
making their way to the next round after 5 or 6 games.
LeBron has some decent players to help him out down the stretch
like Ben Wallace, Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak, but I just
don’t think they are players that can step up and like the Jamison
and Butler can for Washington.
Keep your eyes on this series as it could be one of the most
entertaining in the first round of these playoffs!
