California -5 vs. UCLA

The California Golden Bears (4-2) visit the Rose Bowl to battle the UCLA Bruins (3-4) in this Pac 12 matchup. UCLA has all kinds of questions surrounding the future of the program. Rick Neuheisel has failed to produce a winner at his alma-mater. The Bruins also are facing key suspensions because of a brawl versus Arizona. California comes in off a victory over Utah in their most impressive performance of the year. Both teams have been up and down, but the Golden Bears look to be the more stable of the two teams.
UCLA’s last outing was horrific as they were blown out by a team lead by an interim head coach in the Arizona Wildcats. If that was not enough there was a beNCh clearing brawl before half time that has lead to the suspension of several players. UCLA is already struggling to produce offense and looses their best wide receiver to one of these suspensions. The Bruins generated zero offense against Arizona and the defense also did nothing to slow down the struggling Wildcats.
California has also been up and down this year with a win against Utah, but 2 blowout loses to USC and Oregon. If they have any hope of making a bowl Game they must win this Game as their Schedule gets tougher iNCluding Games against ASU and Stanford. The Golden Bears also have a possible coaching vacaNCy if they fail to make a bowl Game this year.
This looks to be 2 teams headed in different directions. California coming off their most impressive win of the year is in a must win situation and UCLA looks to be in disarray with suspensions and coaching questions. California is (3-0) the last 3 Games against the spread vs. the Bruins. California wins the Game 41-14 and the struggles continue for the Bruins.
