If the past two Monday nights are any indication, next week’s NFC East showdown between New York and Dallas should be a dandy. Two weeks ago Baltimore and Denver played to a defensive struggle. Next Monday in Dallas, the Giants and Cowboys both come in at 3-2 and sit in the middle of their tightly contested division.
As well, both are coming off very impressive wins. The Giants went into Atlanta and pushed around the Falcons, 37-14. Dallas crushed Houston 34-6 behind Terrell Owens’ three scores.
New York has seen Eli Manning evolve into one of the conference’s top quarterbacks, while Dallas has seen a very inconsistent effort Game-by-Game from Drew Bledsoe. Manning has thrown for 11 scores in five Games with Bledsoe has tossed for seven with as many interceptions.
