The Miami Dolphins are coming off of their biggest win and best performance of the season against the Pittsburg Steelers. The Dolphins used stifling defense and a heavy and extremely productive dose of Jay Ajayi to dominate the Steelers. Ajayi rushed for 204 yards on 25 carries and added 2 rushing touchdowns to his total.
Ryan Tannehill did not commit any turnovers and played a smooth managing type of Game. The Dolphins have more talent on their team than most teams in the NFL. Their problem has been a lack of communication and often times a lack of true desire to win a football Game. This Game against the Steelers was an example of just how good the Dolphins could be when they decide to bring it all together.
While he did not play much, it was good news to see Arian Foster come back from injury as he will be needed for the Dolphins to continue to have success against teams. Sadly, the Dolphins may have lost their All-Pro safety Reshad Jones for the year due to a potentially torn rotator cuff. Jones is getting MRIs and opinions from doctors now. If he is lost, that would be a huge blow to their defense!
The first half of the Buffalo Bills Game was competitive against the 49ers. The second half, not so much. The Bills ran the rock down the 49ers throat and continued to brutalize them for the entire second half. Shady McCoy put up 140 yards on the ground with 3 touchdowns. In total, the Bills rushed for 312 yards. That’s bringing Rex Ryan back to his Jets’ days where he wanted to left-cross you in the mouth with the run then right-uppercut you with his defense.
Bettorsworld Pick – It’s one thing to have a good offense. It’s one thing to have a good defense. But to have a very good offense and a very good defense is really something special and that’s exactly what the Bills have. Only one way to look in this one. Bills -3
