Week 2 for the Miami Dolphins was a tale of two halves and two quarterbacks. Jimmy GAroppolo played a quarter and a half that made NFL fans question “Tom Brady, who?” GAroppolo torched the Dolphins for three touchdown passes. He was able to spread the love around to his receivers and The Black Unicorn, Martellus Bennett.

It was as if Tom Brady was out there kicking the Dolphin’s butt like he has done for more than a decade. Then came the injury to GAroppolo’s shoulder. He was taken out of the Game and replaced by the rookie quarterback, Jacoby Brissett. Brissett did not play a “bad Game” he simply played the way a coaching staff would treat a rookie quarterback with a huge lead. The Patriots attempted to milk the clock with Blount handling the majority of carries.

In the second half the Dolphins, playing catch up, were able to ignite their offense and move the ball. They were able to capitalize on big plays and put points up on the board. The Dolphins had a shot at tying or potentially winning the Game towards the end, but Ryan Tannehill threw an interception and that was it. Yet another week of being let down on the final drive of the Game.

The Cleveland Browns’ week 2 story goes a little something like this: Scorea buNCh of points in the first quarter on big plays then prove why we’re the Browns and why we are a continually bad team. In the first quarter the Browns had people believing in Josh McCown and that the Browns were a team to be reckoned with. As the Game progressed, the Ravens were able to keep the Browns scoreless and impose their superiority on the Game.

The Dolphins are simply a better team than the Browns. There is too much talent on the defensive side of the ball for the Dolphins to continue to struggle throughout the year. Josh McCown is listed as doubful this week which would mean rokie Cody Kessler could see action. Dolphins -9.5
