The Miami Dolphins are coming off of a bye. The Dolphins have been playing stellar football recently and have truly turned around. The Dolphins have the talent on their team to earn a wild card spot (mostly because Brady will win the division).
The Dolphins have a chance to get back to .500 and have been pretty good at home this year. Arian Foster recently retired due to constant injuries. So up steps Jay Ajayi. He reeled off two 200-yard rushing Games in a row. The rumor is, he finally showed Adam GAse which plays he likes in the playbook and that’s what led to his recent success.
Many are calling the Jets’ defense overrated. We shall see if the Dolphins’ offense can overcome the names on the back of the Jets’ jerseys. Ryan Tannehill will need to play Alex Smith type like football. If he doesn’t turn the ball over and he keeps the offense moving steadily down the field, then the Dolphins should be in good position to win this Game.
The New York Jets won a close Game against the Cleveland Browns. Many believe that’s an indication of the Jets being a bad team. However, the Browns know how to play competitive football.
The Jets got back to their running ways by feeding Matt Forte the ball 25 times on the ground. Forte didn’t turn that into a lot of yardage, but he converted two of those carries into touchdowns.
With his recent success, Bilal Powell may see the field even more as he is dangerous on the ground and through the air. Ryan Fitzpatrick will probably be under heavy pressure throughout this Game.
The Dolphins will continue to feed Jay Ajayi. Don’t expect another 200-yard Game, but something along the lines of 110 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown or two would solidify him as the Dolphins’ go to running back.
