This week, the Los Angeles Rams are coming off of a bye. The Rams are a funny team in that they play really good teams in their division pretty tough and often times beat them, but then against non-divisional opponents they lose.
With the Cardinals and Seahawks in their division, it’s highly unlikely that the Rams see the playoffs, but they can continue to develop their talent. Todd Gurley has been underwhelming so far this season. Maybe last year’s performance set the bar too high.
The Rams have gotten pretty good production out of the other skill positions on offense though. That has not been the case for MANY years. Case Keenum isn’t the long-term solution, that’ll be more in line with Jared Goff. After starting the season 3 and 1, the Rams have dropped 3 Games in a row. Although, oNCe again they have been competitive and have had the opportunities to win these Games. However, their Schedule is brutal on the back half of the year.
The Panthers are coming off of a dominant win over the Cardinals. They have an uphill battle ahead of them, but if they can get to 3 and 5, it’s a winnable uphill battle considering no one in the NFC South is pulling away.
The Panthers will need to continue to rely on Jonathan Stewart if they want to continue having success. Cutting down on the hits Cam takes and delivering hits back to the defense with Stewart will make the Panthers playoff relevant.
