Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4 SU 3-4 ATS) vs. Carolina Panthers (5-2 SU 4-3 ATS)

After a good start to the season winning their first two Games the Buccaneers have lost Four of their last five Games. In their first two Games Ryan Fitzpatrick played great with Jameis Winston serving a three-Game suspension. Winston came back as the starter, but in the last Game was beNChed after throwing Four INT and Fitzpatrick almost brought Tampa Bay back. Whoever gets the start in this Game may have to light up the scoreboard to cover-up for a Bucs’ defense that ranks dead last in the league giving up an average of 33.3 ppg.

While the Bucs are reeling the Panthers are streaking winning two in a row and Four of their last five Games. Cam Newton has played well as has the team’s defense. The strength of Carolina is the ground Game, which ranks 2nd in the league in rushing yards per Game.

At YOUWAGER sportsbook the Panthers are a 6-point home favorite and the total has not been posted at time of writing.

This season the Buccaneers are 3-4 ATS with an O/U record of 6-1 and the Panthers are 4-3 ATS with an O/U record of 4-3.

This is the first Game between these NFC South rivals this season and last season the Panthers beat the Bucs twice.

The road team is 4-0 ATS in the last Four Games between these teams.

In their last Game, the Buccaneers lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 37-34. The team racked up 576 yards, giving up 402 yards, but Winston ACCounted for all of the Tampa turnovers with his Four picks. When he was beNChed Fitzpatrick came in and passed for 194 yards with two TD and he did not have an INT. Mike Evans had a big Game with 176 receiving yards with a TD and Peyton Barber rushed for 85 yards and a score.

Carolina’s defense ranks 11th in the league giving up an average of 21.7 ppg.

The Panthers are coming off a 36-21 home win over the Baltimore Ravens in their last Game and while they only had 61 more total yards (386-325) they forced three turnovers and did not commit any.

Newton was 21/28 for 219 yards and two TD with no INT and also led the team in rushing with 52 yards and a score. Christian McCaffrey leads the team in rushing on the season and he and Newton have combined for 732 rushing yards and five TD.

The Bucs have not played bad run defense this season, but their pass defense ranks 2nd to last in the league giving up an average of 318.4 passing yards per Game.

Key Betting Trends

Buccaneers

1-4 ATS in their last 5 Games

5-1 ATS in their last 6 Games against a team with a winning record

9-4 ATS in their last 13 Games after an ATS win

Over record of 4-0 in their last 4 road Games

Panthers

1-5 ATS in their last 6 Games flowing a win

7-2 ATS in their last 9 home Games

Over record of 6-2 in their last 8 home Games

Jason’s Pick: The Bucs rank 1st in the league in passing yards per Game, but who will be under center in this Game? Big question, but whoever it is has to avoid the turnover. The Panthers are coming off a solid win and they are 4-0 at home this season. That record will not be blemished this Sunday, as in their house they will win and cover the spread.
