L.A. Chargers (5-2 SU 3-4 ATS) vs. Seattle Seahawks (4-3 SU 4-2-1 ATS)

The Chargers are 5-2 and in 2nd place in the AFC West and their only two losses have come against the Rams and the Chiefs, who have a combined one loss. There five wins have all come against teams that are currently under .500. L.A. is riding a Four-Game winning streak and they are a very balanced team. Not only are the Bolts balanced, but also well rested since they are coming off a bye.

The Seahawks have won two in a row and Four of their last five Games with the only loss in that span to the undefeated L.A. Rams. There is a lot of football to play, but at 4-3 and trailing the 8-0 Rams in the NFC West Seattle may have to rely on the Wild Card to make the playoffs. The team ranks 4th in the league in points allowed per Game and they have only given up 17 points in their last two Games.

At YOUWAGER sportsbook the Seahawks are a 1-point home favorite with a total of 48.

This season the Chargers are 3-4 ATS with an O/U record of 5-2 and the Seahawks are 4-2-1 ATS with an O/U record of 2-5.

These teams have not met since the 2014 season.

The underdog is 5-0 ATS in the last five Games between these teams.

In their last Game, the Chargers were at home and won their 4th in a row with a 20-19 win over the Tennessee Titans. L.A. had 46 fewer yards in the Game and only rushed for 47 yards, but came up with the Game’s only turnover intercepting a pass on their Four-yard line with 30 seconds to go in the first half.

Rivers passed for 306 yards with two TD and no INT and Tyrell Williams had 118 receiving yards iNCluding a 75-yard TD reception. Austin Ekeler led the team with only 42 rushing yards with Melvin Gordon not playing with a hamstring injury and he is listed as questionable for this Game.

Seattle ranks 5th in the league in pass defense and 15th in run defense, but they stuffed the run in their last Game.

The Seahawks are coming off a 28-14 win over the Detroit Lions where they out-GAined the Lions 413 yards to 331 yards. They rushed for 176 yards in the Game, only GAve up 34 rushing yards, and forced three turnovers while not committing any.

Russell Wilson was solid passing for 248 yards with three TD and no INT and David Moore led the team with 97 receiving yards. Chris Carson rushed for 105 yards with a TD and he has rushed for over 100 yards in three of his last Four Games.

The Chargers rank near the middle of the pack in terms of pass and run defense, but in their last Game they did give up 164 rushing yards. Their defensive star in Joey Bosa is still on the shelf with a foot injury and is out for this Game.

Key Betting Trends

Chargers

3-8 ATS in their last 11 Games facing a team with a winning record

6-2 ATS in their last 8 Games following an ATS loss

Over record of 5-2 in their last 7 Games

Seahawks

4-1 ATS in their last 5 Games

2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 home Games vs. a team with a winning road record

Under record of 5-1 in their last 6 Games

Jason’s Pick: The Chargers losses have come against two great teams and all of their wins have come against sub .500 teams. They are only 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Games against a team with a winning record and that trend will continue. The Seahawks will win and cover at home, winning their 3rd in a row, and they will snap the Chargers Four-Game win streak.
