Philadelphia Eagles (6-6 SU 4-8 ATS) vs. Dallas Cowboys (7-5 SU 7-5 ATS)

The defending Super Bowl champion Eagles have won two in a row and while only .500 they can GAin a tie with the Cowboys for the NFC East with a win in this Game. After only scoring 27 points in two straight losses Philadelphia has totaled 53 points in winning their last two Games. The offense for the Eagles is starting to click at the right time, but a loss in this Game will make getting back to the playoffs a tall task.

The Cowboys are hot winners of Four in a row and they are coming off an impressive 13-10 win over the New Orleans Saints last Thursday night. They are in first place in the NFC East one Game up on 6-6 Philly and 6-6 Washington and they can really take control of the division with a win. They rushed for 171 yards in the earlier win over the Eagles and they will need a solid ground Game in this division matchup.

The Cowboys are a 4-point home favorite with a total of 43.

This season the Eagles are 4-8 ATS with an O/U record of 4-8 and the Cowboys are 7-5 ATS with an O/U record of 5-7.

These teams met a few weeks back in Philly where the Cowboys beat the Eagles 27-20.

The Eagles are 5-2 ATS in their last seven Games facing the Cowboys in the Big D.

The Eagles were at home in their last Game on Monday night and beat the Washington Redskins 28-13. They had over 200 more overall yards in the Game and while they GAve up a 90-yard TD run they only GAve up 14 rushing yards besides that.

Carson Wentz passed for 306 yards with two TD and one INT and Golden Tate and star TE Zach Ertz combined for 168 receiving yards. Josh Adams helped out in the backfield with 85 rushing yards averaging a respectable 4.3 yards per carry. Adams has rushed for at least 84 yards in each of his last two Games, but in the loss to Dallas this season he only rushed for 47 yards with 29 of those yards coming on one play.

The Cowboys’ D has played well on the season and they not only rank 7th in the league in pass D and 4th in run D, but they held the dynamic offense of the Saints in check in their last Game.

In their last Game Dallas was at home and won 13-10 over the New Orleans Saints, who had their nine-Game winning streak snapped. The defense played great in the Game holding Drew Brees and the Saints to only 176 total yards and they had a 13-0 lead at the half.

Dak Prescott passed for 248 yards with a TD with no INT, but he was sacked seven times. Michael GAllup led the Cowboys with 76 receiving yards with Amari Cooper chiming in for 75 receiving yards. Ezekiel Elliot rushed for 76 yards and while he only averaged 3.3 yards per carry he also had six catches for 60 yards and a TD. In the earlier win over Philly Elliot had a huge Game rushing for 151 yards and also had 36 receiving yards.

While the Eagles rank a solid 10th in the league in run defense they only rank 26th in pass defense.

Key ATS Trends

Eagles

1-4 ATS in their last 5 Games after a win

5-2 ATS in their last 7 Games following a straight up win of more than 14 points

Under record of 6-1 in their last 7 Games

Cowboys

4-0 ATS in their last 4 Games

6-1 ATS in their last 7 Games facing teams from the NFC East

Over record of 4-1 in their last 5 Games

Jason’s Pick: The Eagles have won two in a row, but those wins came against the woeful Giants and a Redskins team that has been decimated by injuries and is down to their 3rd string QB. This Game will be pretty close, but Elliot will have another big Game facing Philly and America’s Team will win and cover at home taking control of the NFC East late in the season.
