The Giants have lost five in a row and one of their bright spots came last week because they did not play having a bye. They are in the basement of the NFC East and they have struggled on both sides of the ball. They rank 2nd to last in the league in rushing yards per Game and Eli Manning has five interceptions in his last Four Games.
The 49ers snapped their six-Game skid in their last Game in a 34-3 blowout win over the Oakland Raiders. Nick Mullins will get another start under center and he had one of the best statistical Games for a debut in the win over Oakland. San Fran played great defense in the win over the Raiders and that has been their main issue on the season only ranking 24th giving up an average of 26.6 ppg.

Matt Breida leads the 49ers in rushing yards, but only had 44 in the loss to the Raiders and in his last three Games he has only rushed for a total of 101 yards and has failed to coverage over 3.7 yards per carry. The Giants rank in the middle of the pack in terms of pass defense, but their run defense only ranks 23rd in the league.
