New York Giants (0-1 SU 0-1 ATS) vs. Dallas Cowboys (0-1 SU 0-1 ATS)
Both the Giants and the Cowboys lost their first Games of the season and the loser of this Game will be behind the 8-ball right away stating 0-2. The Giants lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-15 where they actually had more yards in the Game.
The Cowboys lost to the Carolina Panthers 16-8 where their offense really looked out of syNC and they were shut out for the first three quarters. However, they won their two Games facing the Giants last season and in the last Game against them they put up 30 points. There is a lot of pressure on Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot to turn things around quickly for America’s Team.
At 5Dimes sportsbook the Cowboys are a 3-point favorite with a total sitting at 42.
Early in the season the Giants are 0-1 ATS with an O/U record of 0-1 and the Cowboys are 0-1 ATS with an O/U record of 0-1.
The Giants have covered the spread in five of their last seven Games facing the Cowboys, but the two Games they did not cover in that span came in the last two Games against Dallas.
The Giants lost to the Jags in their last Game GAining 324 yards while holding Jacksonville to 305 yards. They had a costly pick-six in the Game and Eli Manning passed for 224 yards with no TD and he was picked oNCe. Odell Beckham Jr. had a pretty solid Game in his first one back since breaking his foot last season with 111 receiving yards.
Saquon Barkley was the 2nd pick in the last draft by the Giants and the RB impressed in Week 1 against a great Jags’ defense going for 111 yards and a 68-yard TD run and also had two catches for 22 yards. Look for him to get a heavy workload in this Game facing a Cowboys team that GAve up two running TD’s in their last Game.
Dallas did, at least, play pretty good defense in their loss in their opener to the Panthers giving up less than 300 yards. However, they only GAined 232 yards. They were only 2/11 on 3rd downs and while their D was pretty good, overall, they did give up two rushing TD’s and 147 rushing yards.
Dak Prescott had a less than stellar season debut passing for only 170 yards and while a mobile QB he was sacked six times for 32 yards. Cole Beasley led the team with 73 receiving yards while no other player had more than 27. Ezekiel Elliot rushed for 69 yards averaging a legit 4.6 yards per carry, but he only had 15 carries and look for that workload to iNCrease in this Game.

Jason’s Pick: Ok, so I am no fan of the Cowboys being a Redskins’ fan, but they are the pick in this Game. The Dallas D will do their part keeping the Giants from scoring many points and while the Cowboys will not light up the scoreboard they will put up enough points to get the W. Elliot will have a good Game pounding the ball on the ground and that will be the key, as Dallas will win and cover at home.
