The Arizona Cardinals (1-1) visit the Seattle Seahawks (0=2) in this match up of NFC West Division foes. The Cardinals are coming off of a 1 point loss on the road to the Washington Redskins while Seattle is still licking their wounds from a 24-0 beat down at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cardinals have shown some improvement from last year while Seattle is still searching for answers with new Quarterback Tavares Jackson.
The Cardinals have had 2 very entertaining games with the Carolina Panthers and Washington Redskins. Kevin Kolb has been able to get the ball to Larry Fitzgerald as they have been very competitive in both games. The running game still needs to improve as they need to have better production out of Beenie Wells, the defense could also help by creating more turnovers. The Cardinals on the road seem to always find ways to lose games as they did last week, but I feel they are talented enough to beat this Seattle team.
Seattle appears like they will struggle all season and in the end be a part of the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes. They had special team breakdowns in week 1 as they lost to the San Francisco 49ers and in week 2 they were not competitive in a 24-0 laugher. Offensively they have struggled to be productive. Marshawn Lynch is talented and may be able to run the ball against this Cardinals front. The defense has played well in spots but has been on the field to say they are totally inept.
This game is between 2 teams who are in the rebuilding process. The Cardinals are ahead of Seattle and may challenge San Francisco for the division title. Seattle will show a pulse in this game and keep it competitive e, but the Cardinal will prevail and get their first division win. Take the Arizona Cardinal to cover the 3 point spread as they beat Seattle 31-24.
