Listed below are Our team by team SEC football previews for the 2014 season. Many believe the SEC is the toughest Conference in all of college football. They may be right. From top to bottom, there’s no other Conference with as many quality teams. There is rarely a week off in the SEC, unlike other conferences.

Alabama is favored to win the SEC at odds of +150 (bet 100 to win 150) and there may very well be some value in the price. After all, they were a couple of plays away from playing for another National Title and have plenty of motivation.

But Our pick to win the SEC this year is South Carolina at a nice price of +450. Check out Our South Carolina preview below along with all the rest of the teams from the mighty SEC.

2014 Alabama Crimson Tide Football Betting PreviewAlabama was a couple of fluke plays away from competing in yet another National Championship Game last season and you can be sure coach Nick Saban will use that Auburn Game as a motivational tool for the 2014 season. 5 Dimes sportsbook currently lists the Crimson Tide at +550, or a tad more than 5 to 1 to win the National Championship in 2014-2015, 2nd to only Florida State who is listed at +325.

2014 Arkansas Razorbacks College Football Betting PreviewAs with most college football teams, there are positives and negatives heading into the 2014 season for the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Hogs come into 2014 off a dismal 3-9 season in which they lost their final 9 Games after opening up 3-0.

2014 Auburn Tigers College Football Betting Preview – Auburn and head coach Gus Malzahn took the football world by surprise in 2013, going 12-1 over the course of the season and the SEC championship, and landing in the national title Game where they lost in the final seconds to a very good Florida State team.

2014 Kentucky Wildcats College Football Preview with Odds – As in any other season with Kentucky football, the expectations are low. They finished 2-10 last year in Mark Stoops’ first season and there was definitely some learning adjustments with the new coaching staff.

2014 LSU College Football Betting Preview with Schedule – LSU has some major holes to fill if they are to get to 10 wins for the fifth straight season. While they did get to 10 wins last year, finishing third in the SEC West isn’t what Les Miles is looking for and they could be headed for more of the same this year.

2014 Missouri Tigers College Football Betting Preview – It’s going to be extremely difficult for Missouri to repeat last season’s success. Even though the Tigers are losing their starting quarterback, that probably won’t be the biggest issue they have with only nine total returning starters. Needless to say, no one is expecting Missouri to repeat their 11-win season from a year ago.

2014 Mississippi State College Football Preview with Schedule and Odds – Mississippi State ended their season strong last year with three straight wins, two of them coming in overtime to give them a bowl Game and then a dominant 44-7 bowl win over Rice. At 4-6 fans were ready to scrap the entire team, but the Bulldogs came through in the end.

2014 Texas A&M Betting Preview with Schedule and OddsTexas A&M lost some big-time talent to the NFL, but in the end, it wouldn’t be surprising if they finished with more wins than last season’s 9-4 record. Their offense loses Johnny Manziel, but should be more run-focused in 2014, while the defense can only improve from last year’s dismal performances.

2014 Vanderbilt College Football Betting PreviewVanderbilt has made it to a bowl Game in three straight seasons, but this could be their hardest test yet. They’ll be bringing in first-year head coach Derek Mason, who comes in from Stanford as their associate head coach and defensive coordinator

2014 Tennessee Vols College Football Betting PreviewTennessee has finished 5-7 for three straight seasons and Butch Jones is looking to rebuild the team’s outlook in his second year. Unfortunately, this probably won’t be the year.

2014 Ole Miss College Football Schedule with Odds and PreviewFinishing tied for fifth in the SEC West wasn’t Hugh Freeze’s goals at the beginning of last year, but there’s not all that much to complain about if you look at Ole Miss’ losses. The Rebels fell to all the top teams in the SEC (outside of at Mississippi State) and beat LSU.

2014 South Carolina Gamecocks Football Preview with Odds and Schedule – South Carolina is in arguably the best position of any team in the SEC East to win the division this year. They return 14 starters, but more importantly their stud All-SEC running back Mike Davis, an experienced offensive line and a stocked receiving core. The only question for the Gamecocks on the offensive end is quarterback Dylan Thompson.

2014 Florida Gators College Football Betting PreviewThere weren’t a whole lot of positives to take away from Florida’s Four-win 2013 season, but their defense was pretty stout and one of the best in the SEC. Still, that’s hardly something you can look at in the first losing season for the Gators since 1979.

2014 Georgia Bulldogs College Football Schedule and Betting Preview – Georgia is in the same boat as a lot of other SEC schools with its former starting quarterback departing. Life without Four-year starter Aaron Murray shouldn’t be all that bad for the Bulldogs though and the bookmakers show that.
